Okay, I added in the “spectacular” part because I’m a sucker for a Seinfeld reference, but the “real” part is, well… real. After six months of anticipation, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released its unclassified report on the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force’s assessment of UFOs seen in and around restricted airspace and military facilities. (You can download and read the report here. It’s only nine pages, some of which is just boilerplate.) A second, classified report which is believed to be much longer and containing far “juicier” material was also delivered to Congress. The White House has also been briefed on the report.

Is this an admission by the govt so we don't talk about how our country is being wrecked and only our "leaders" can protect us ?

"... UFOs seen in and around restricted airspace and military facilities."
Naw. We don't have any secret military stuff going on. I seem to have misplaced my $10,000 government hammer. Anyone seen it?

The aliens probably took one look & decided it would be pointless to land and say “Take me to your leader”. They just shook their heads and decided to zoom around for a few more years.

Are there any reports from foreign countries about so many UFOs spotted?

I don't buy it. Maybe another way to groom society for global socialism.

I was a UFO / space alien denier for years, but how do you explain (e.g.) Lori Lightfoot and Kamala Harris?

#2, that hammer accidentally came home in my lunchbox. By the way, its just a regular hammer with an NSN number on it. Worth about $5.

The Pentagon has also spotted and is studying "spectacular" white rage.

One night in the late 70’s my husband was sitting on the beach in Pensacola, Florida not far from the Naval Air Station, home of the Blue Angels, and at that time, an aircraft carrier as part of the Navy’s aviation training center. He saw a round light which bounced all over the sky like a marble in a pin ball machine, going at massive speed and changing direction in sudden and acute moves. And no, he was not under the influence of anything.
I’ve never believed that we are alone in this massive universe.

That comment #11, sounds like someone was playing with a laser. BTW, just how have they ruled out China? Look how successfully they attacked our economy with the "pandemic."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the report cannot even tell the size of these objects. Are they the size of a plane or a drone (or bird)? The main takeaway from this report would seem to be that our radar surveillance cannot identify everything. Btw, is our military asking for more research and development funding for its radar systems?
Can our radar system identify drones? For example, could a Russian (or Chinese or somebody else) ship get within 50 miles of our ships or bases, and launch drones to spy on them? What is the range of a drone?
Not ready to believe they are aliens. Would suspect reports of aliens would be worldwide. Somebody else already asked if other countries are having similar issues. If aliens started letting their ships be sighted, it could be a prelude to a first contact. Also those aliens would have been around for a while. Or maybe the aliens don't care if they are spotted.

So.........it took many many months and 9 pages to say the following:
a: We dont know what they are.
b: The could be weather balloons
c: Ya'll probably arent seeing what you think your seeing
d: They could be classified US, Russian or Chinese programs.
e: We need to study the issue further. Please send the check addressed too.........
The ONLY difference between what the Government is saying today VS what its been saying for 80 years is that they "could" be alien", but probably not. But we will get right on that with a massive budget increase.

Misleading click-bait headlines on what's in this report. Read the report yourselves. Just 9 pages. As Van Jones would say, "Big nothing burger". Of the 144 reports they analyzed, 143 remain ... unidentified. Not enough data. Surprise!
The one they were able to figure out was a large deflating balloon.
Oh and surprise of all surprises, they said they need a larger budget to figure out what these things are. Just like every report to Congress ever.

This planet is in the boondocks of the Milky Way Galaxy. We're on the outer edges. Look at any photo of our galaxy, and try and convince me that this little rock floating around in the middle of nowhere is the only rock that has produced life. Turns out that the basic building blocks of life exist everywhere. I don't know if these things are from another planet or galaxy, or even if they are just natural phenomena, but there is evidence that whatever they are, humans have been seeing them forever. I hope they aren't from Russia or China. It would mean that their technology is extremely more far advanced then ours, and that is not a good thing.

If the Pentagon report announced that ufos exist and that they are extraterrestrial in origin, what might happen if a ufo landed on the White House grounds?
Would current POTUS Joe Biden act decisively and courageously like actor Bill Pullman’s portrayal of President Thomas J. Whitmore in the film, “Independence Day” or would President Biden act fecklessly and cravenly like actor Jack Nicholson’s portrayal of President James Dale in the film, “Mars Attacks!”?
Personally, I hope we never find out. Live long and prosper!

RE: the comment on a light 'bouncing around like a pinball machine', near a USN air base and with carrier around.
My first thought is 'projected spot of light', which can literally "defy physics" that would limit the ability of a real object to turn, stop and accelerate. Think of a cat chasing a laser pointer. That dot of light can make square corners that no physical object can possibly match. If you assume that the dot of light is attached to a ship....it's doing 'impossible maneuvers', or maybe it's just a dot of light.
And....both USN land runways and aircraft carriers have a huge optical mirror system which projects a "meatball" light into the sky as guidance to the naval aviators landing on the carrier, or the runway, in training. Maybe adjusting or cleaning the USN Optical Landing System?
And one personal example of this sort of thing. I was flying one night from KC out to the small town of La Junta, Colorado, on a clear evening at about 11,000 ft. About 70 miles away, we saw a BRIGHT red light ahead, by far outshining any other of the normal house and street lights on the ground. A few minutes later, the bright red light, which had attracted our attention, began to steadily change to a white light, over about 10-15 seconds. We then realized that we were seeing the VASI lights at the La Junta airport which show pilots their proper glide slope, much like the USN 'meatball' light/mirror optical landing system. VASI is normally seen at a mile or so as you turn onto final approach at night, and tells you if you are high or low, and guides you to a good approach angle. We happened to be right on the extended runway centerline, over two miles above sea level and 70 miles away when we first flew into the beam of the "too low" red lights, and gradually flew into the white/red "OK" zone as we maintained altitude but got closer.
At nights a light can be seen and projected for many tens of miles, and the same atmospheric lensing effects that makes the "water" (mirage) appear in the roadway ahead on a hot summer day, can cause cities to be seen 100 miles or more away in the desert by curving the image, refracted by different temperature air layers.
I am convinced that most 'funny lights in the sky' are this sort of refracted lights from a source far away, perhaps even over the horizon.
And a VASI light array is just a few floodlight bulbs, just like yard floods, nothing particularly gigantic and ultra powerful, and yet they were brilliantly seen from 70 miles away, when in the exact right location. We were 'on glide slope', but still 25 minutes cruising time out.

#12, I don’t think that the average person in the 1970’s had a laser to play with.

UFOs are REAL! Sounds like a job for...SPACE COMMAND!! This is budget fertilizer. A new threat...unknown...with high tech advantages over us...demanding research...and all sorts of goodies. Hey, it's for the military...billions and trillions we HAVE to spend.
