Republicans Got Played By Joe Biden and There
Needs to Be a Reckoning

It’s difficult to get played by a senile old man whose brain has the consistency of pudding, but somehow, Republicans managed that feat today. Failure theater is back, and it’s reaching new heights. As RedState reported earlier, Biden announced an agreement on a bipartisan infrastructure deal, complete with a grinning Mitt Romney and Lisa Murkowski standing beside him. Following that dog and pony show, the president then proceeded to demonstrate the finer points of existing with cognitive decline. Regardless, according to the Republicans on the negotiating team, this was supposed to be a great victory and show of unity. Of course, then reality smacked them in the face. Biden, within an hour

Nonsense. They didn't get played - they are complicit and willing partners in the fleecing of the taxpayer. They will be right back to offer up even more (and rake in more spoils) after registering their faux outrage over being 'double-crossed'. Its an act, Bonchie. Stop falling for it.

It’s kind of funny as Biden claimed that the wimpy RINO Romney always stood behind his word when they were in the US Senate years ago. The problem with that fraudulent Biden pronouncement is that Biden and Romney were never in the US Senate at the same time.

Kamala Harris Claims ‘Extreme Progress’ on the
Border as Crisis Grows Worse

Vice President Kamala Harris claimed Friday that she and President Joe Biden had achieved “extreme progress” on the border, despite the growing number of illegal crossings into the United States. “I call it progress. We’re not exactly where we want to be yet, but we have seen extreme progress over the last few months,” Harris said during a press conference after visiting a border facility in El Paso, Texas on Friday. When Harris first assumed leadership on the border crisis, the number of migrants detained there had reached a 15-year high, with over 173,000 migrants apprehended. The problem only got worse.

For two hundred forty years, American generals have not exactly been defined by adamant public advocacy for left-wing cultural dogma. Yet there appeared to be a great awakening at the Pentagon on Wednesday when Gen. Mark Milley, the highest-ranking military officer in the U.S. as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, testified at a House hearing. The Chairman vehemently defended the teaching of critical race theory at West Point and, referencing the January 6 Capitol riot, said, “it is important that we train and we understand ... and I want to understand white rage. And I'm white." In response to conservative criticisms

Kamala Harris seems to be met with protesters wherever she goes. As we reported, she was met by protesters, when she went to Guatemala, telling her to “Go Home.” Now, as she visits El Paso, Texas, protesters are out there for her photo op in the area. But I’m thinking that wasn’t the photo op that she wanted. The Hispanic, Trump-supporting group of protesters also gifted her with a new nickname, “Que mala,” which would translate to “how mean,” or “how bad.” A great, short expression of “how bad” she and Joe Biden have been for the border — and for the country in general.
Austin's Homicide Number Passes 40 As Defunding

Austin Mayor Steve Adler and Council Member Greg Casar defunded the city’s police in the name of racial justice and equity. Did they anticipate that their decision would result in a skyrocketing murder rate that disproportionately impacts the city’s minorities? That’s what’s happening. Austin suffered 47 homicides in all of 2020, which was the worst year for homicides in a decade. 2021, the year in which defunding the police kicked in, will surely surpass 2020’s total. Two fatal shootings in Givens Park on the city’s east side this week push the 2021 homicide total to 41 so far.

The US government has said it has no explanation for dozens of unidentified flying objects seen by military pilots. A Pentagon report released on Friday says of 144 reports made about the phenomena since 2004, all but one remain unexplained. It does not rule out the possibility that the objects are extraterrestrial. Congress demanded the report after the US military reported numerous instance of objects seen moving erratically in the sky. The interim report released on Friday said most of the 144 reported cases of the "unidentified aerial phenomena", referred to as UAP, came in the last two years, after the US Navy put in place a standardised reporting mechanism.

I’m enjoying the drama today over what Biden and Pelosi said about not passing the Senate’s bipartisan infrastructure bill unless the other component, the “human infrastructure” bill, also passes via reconciliation. Senate Republicans seem very mad about that ultimatum. Emphasis on “seem.” Because two things are clear. One: There was always going to be a reconciliation component to this. Joe Manchin has never given the GOP reason to believe he’d walk away from the reconciliation bill if they compromised with him on the roads-and-bridges part of infrastructure. This was a two-step process and Republicans negotiated in that knowledge.

But Graham couldn’t contain himself after the White House announced a slight alteration in the bipartisan infrastructure bill recently agreed to by the White House and Senate that Graham said makes the GOP look like “f**king idiots.” Indeed, it does. Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer informed the Republicans that if they want that infrastructure deal, they’re going to have to pass the rest of Biden’s multi-trillion-dollar agenda. “I expect that in the coming months this summer, before the fiscal year is over, that we will have voted on this bill,

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department is suing Georgia over the state's voting laws, a person familiar with the matter said Friday. The announcement will be made later Friday by Attorney General Merrick Garland. It comes two weeks after Garland said the Justice Department would scrutinize a wave of new laws in Republican-controlled states that tighten voting rules. He pledged to take action if prosecutors found unlawful activity. The person was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly before the official announcement and spoke on condition of anonymity. The move also comes as pressure grows on the Biden administration to respond to GOP-backed laws being pushed

I beg to differ. The fact that it took this White House three months – – and a threatened visit by Donald Trump to the border — to make such an easy and obvious move is the joke. Sending Kamala Harris to a relatively quiet part of the border for this box-checking exercise might be the first smart thing Joe Biden and his team have done. House Democrat Henry Cuellar isn’t having any of it, however: “I’m sure her planners told her that if you’re going to go down to the border, go to something that’s safer to go to, that is, politically safer,”

The committee offered several alternatives for terms commonly used in the industry, such as using “manufactured” or “fabricated” instead of “man-made.”

As the Marxist revolution oozes forward, I occasionally wonder what will happen to the useful idiots when the commies seize absolute power in this once great Republic. I believe that most AT readers are familiar with the term, but for those who need a brief refresher, a useful idiot, as defined by Wikipedia, "is a derogatory term for a person perceived as propagandizing for a cause without fully comprehending the cause's goals, and who is cynically used by the cause's leaders." In my opinion, this definition can be applied to a majority of the young, brainwashed radicals who have no idea about the true history of Marxism
