President Joe Biden blamed employers not paying staff enough in wages when speaking about concerns of worker shortages during his infrastructure press conference on Thursday. Biden whispered his solution for companies struggling to find workers while taking questions from the press about the $953 billion deal carved out between a bipartisan group of Republicans and Democrats. 'Pay them more', he said while leaning into the microphone and looking out at the crowd.

Biden: "Pay them more"
Small business owners who have managed to survive BLM riots and the pandemic: "With what shall we pay them, Mr. President?"
Unlike the federal government, small business owners cannot print money.

What Biden was creepily whispering was that by paying unemployment compensation to unemployed workers that amounted to a wage of about $19.00 an hour that he was pressuring employers to pay an equal or better wage if they want employees to go back to work, and that he had more to come. In the same breath Biden said that inflation was not a worry. But common sense will tell you that if employers have to pay unskilled workers $19.00 an hour or more, and up from there, that a lot of employers are going to have to raise up the prices that they will charge for their services in order to continue to make a necessary profit to survive and stay in business. That is bound to be considered by the average person to be Biden caused inflation that they will have to pay for big time.

In Southern Oklahoma the pay is 15-20/hr and up in small manufacturing jobs. Positions go unfilled. I think a lot of our problem is inadequate housing for that pay scale.

It is just one lie after another with Biden.

To be fair, Biden is also giving employers the option of hiring newly admitted illegal aliens and paying them less.

Why not make the minimum wage $200 per hour? Business can afford it since everyone knows that they are swimming in money and are just oppressing the worker. Why are we wasting everyone's time with $15 / hour? No one wants to work for 30k a year and asking anyone to lift a finger for that money is an insult.
Hell - lets make it $1 million per hour. We can become Zimbabwe overnight. Quit being such a wussy, Joe, and really do something for the worker.

One reliable sign of dementia or Alzheimer's is frequent grandiosity. The patient believes he is funny, witty, entertaining, charming.
This is Biden's pathetic attempt to sound relatable, conspiratorial, folksy. He couldn't run an elevator yet feels entitled to tell business people mummified in red tape and taxes how to operate their businesses, assuming they've survived the covid idiocy.

Thankfully the Daily Mail, which has a huge online following, is reporting this. Unsurprisingly, in the US, only the NY Post and bloggers have reported on Biden's latest bizarre public appearance.
