A federal judge in South Dakota brought criminal charges of contempt of court and conspiracy to obstruct justice against three U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) officials on Monday in connection with a deputy marshal’s refusal to reveal her vaccination status to his court. In March, U.S. District Judge Charles Kornmann tried to require all courthouse employees to be vaccinated, the Associated Press reported. But U.S. Marshal Daniel Mosteller, who heads up the agency in South Dakota, told Kornmann that wouldn’t work because USMS was not requiring its marshals to be vaccinated.

Comments:

U.S. District Judge Charles Kornmann is a Clinton appointee.

So much for that HIPPA law. Its nobody's business what your medical records have to say except every insurance company, Google, Amazon, your employer, the courts,, school districts. local, state and federal governments.

An interesting issue. By federal statute (28 USC 566(a)) the U,S. Marshal Service is required to obey all lawful orders of the court. Is this a lawful order? Maybe not. The subject matter is administrative rather than a case or controversy. Regardless, my guess is that the presiding judge of the district has jurisdiction in this matter, and not every division. That said, this judge is acting like a jerk.

The U.S. Marshall's office should refuse to comply. Other law enforcement should refuse any orders from this Judge. His rulings are his opinion, not law.

You should have a liability agreement at hand to ask anyone to sign that request for you to be vaccinated. The Liability request should include a guarantee that any harm done to you by the vaccine for the rest of your life will be the responsibility of the requestor. The requestor of vaccination should be required to carry a 10 million dollar per incident liability insurance policy in the event that anyone that person has required to be vaccinated in their presence has a claim.

Another example of judicial overreach. Our judges have become poisoned by the illusion that they have authority on everything and everywhere. Local judges who issue opinions expected to be authoritative across the country. 'Who do they think they are?' We can see. They think they are appointed to the Supreme Court - or even higher - as God. The problem is that our real SC never slaps them down and so far neither has our Almighty Father. I have some hope and faith that He will.

Given the provisions of HIPPA, the three U S Marshals would have NO right to know the vaccination status of another Marshal. Oh, well. The Judge lacks the standing to order the vaccination of anyone. Unless he is also President, which I would not doubt.

Three glistening new buildings in downtown Seattle with 165 studio apartments — originally to be rented at market rates — will instead house the homeless. The Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) is buying the buildings with taxpayer dollars for about $50 million, with federal COVID-19 relief funds splitting the cost equally. Seattle City Hall is contributing about $25 million, while also using “American Rescue Plan Act” funds. A large portion comes from Washington State’s Department of Commerce. Left-wing Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, so unpopular she can’t run for re-election, claims the deals will house people quickly and cheaply, compared to the time and cost required to develop similar projects from scratch.

It should be obvious that no sane parent would ever allow ideology to supersede the proper education of her children. Yet, during the past year, it has become equally clear that many of the nation’s school systems are indoctrinating students using politically tendentious curricula that most of the public considers . . . well . . . insane. This has resulted in widespread protests by parents of all political persuasions to which school boards have responded with stunning hostility. The magnitude of this animus was revealed this week when the National School Boards Association (NSBA) equated parents with “domestic terrorists,” and the Biden administration directed the FBI to investigate them.
