Fox News host Tucker Carlson appeared on the “Ruthless” podcast Thursday and criticized the media for defending people in power instead of challenging them.
Carlson, the former co-founder of the Daily Caller, said that the reason journalists are protected under the First Amendment is that they are meant to challenge those in power. He went on to call out the media defending powerful people as “immoral.”

Nixon and Felts made celebrities out of Woodward and Bernstein. Walter Cronkite was touted as "America's Conscience". Too any journalists now seek fame and fortune rather than truth but know investigating dims is job (or even actual) suicide. That leaves only conservatives to demean.

When Tucker is allowed to admit that there was major voter fraud... I'm not interested in which way the wind is blowing.

They don't question the Dem/Left, but they hurl the lies and groundless accusations against their political opponents. The media in general are simply not journalists, they're advocates for the anti-Americanism of the Dem/Left Party.
And we must not let our fellow Americans off the hook who refuse to question the MSM, who buy the lies no matter how crazy and stupid they are. Everyone here probably knows people like that. They think they are so smart, so knowledgeable and yet they refuse to question what they're fed by the the old BSMedia. This is very cult-like behavior.
I knew someone who came out of a cultic organization (that in itself was traumatic), and it takes real reckoning in order to begin to see the truth let alone accept it.
So while there are some people emerging from the Left, I am not all that optimistic because the sad fact is most people don't want to waste time thinking. ;- {

I remember back in my youth, the powerful were "The Man" and we were against them. Now the powerful control everything and we just take it. I for one am heartily sick of it.

I agree with Tucker Carlson. The media have willingly lost their way. I believe they feel the power they have now is much more favorable than getting into the trenches and going after real stories, uncovering wrongdoing and holding the rich and powerful accountable. Now they can have the power and still hobnob with the elites with the added bonus of being one of them.. Instead of being a watchdog for corruption, they have become a lapdog.
I do like Tucker and watch him regularly but it is with great disappointment. He has refused for the most part to touch the biggest story in our history. He shows no real interest in something that has fundamentally changed this country and was done so through fraud. He rails on every other travesty that we are experiencing now and they do have merit but he refuses to go after the source of all these assaults on our freedom. He cannot be so blind that he can’t see what happened. The videos that have surfaced alone would set any real journalist on a quest for the truth behind what can be seen with the naked eye. Yet, he shows zero curiosity about it. Fox has muzzled him and bought him off with his new ventures on Fox Nation and that is where my disappointment comes in. He talks about courage and his willingness to expose those who are destroying our country, but in this one area he is pretty much silent. There are no segments about voter fraud. There is no coverage of the Arizona audits by him that I am aware of. He talks a good game, but until he comes to the realization that this terrible administration is illegitimate and then proceeds to shine a light on it, I will remain convinced that he is in fear of the elite leftists and their violent mob more than he is a fearless teller of truth regardless of the consequences. Tucker, look in the mirror. Are you really willing to uncover corruption and call the guilty out or have they muzzled you?

I don't watch cable news, but I do occasionally see clips across the internet. I was happy to see Tucker did a story recently, albeit brief, about Epstein Island, and he questioned why others who were there were not being interviewed or possibly charged. Epstein is a huge story, and the media has barely scratched the surface, so at least it's something.
Tucker seems like he's doing good work, but I'll never fully trust him after he went after Sidney Powell, demanding evidence of fraud, TWO DAYS after the election, virtually accusing her of being some kind of charlatan, especially when the fraud was so blatant and massive. And I never watched Laura again when, during the same timeframe, she said Trump should just accept defeat "with grace and composure" and move on. Yeah, okay, Laura.
I can't help but believe they were told what to say. Dark forces are working behind the scenes at Fox. Presently, in Michigan alone, there are 7,000 affidavits claiming election fraud. I wonder why Fox isn't interviewing any of the people who signed these sworn affidavits? Seems like there might be a story there.

Thank you, OP, for posting this. Tucker is the only thing I sometimes watch on Fox. I also will watch Levin. I always learne something. Tucker is pretty dang fearless on reporting the truth - and he’s still on a major network so anyone not just telling the truth and exposing these liars is a good thing. And his delivery is really good, because he asks the right questions and ends up laughing at these ba$ta@ds! He doesn’t stop, he never gives up, and nor should we.

How many of us read the investigative journalism articles listing the IRS leaked income tax rates for the fascist oligarchs that hold huge interests in internet retail, social media, tech giants and conglomerates that include railroads? Well folks, they are not only called the 1%'ers because they hold the wealth! And the FBI is furious looking for the leaker while New York wants to charge President Trump with paying 20 fold the legally, multiply audited taxes! Yep we let the media decide what the unwashed idiots should know.

We watch Tucker every night. I am happy he continues to expose things that others don't, in particular keeping in the news the outrageous treatment of our fellow citizens that took part in the January 6 demonstration and Ashli Babbit's murder. But,I agree with others here, the fact that he will not even tip his toe in the water of election fraud is very, very disappointing. I believe FOX is muzzling their talent. I am sorry that the story of that young FOX reporter who was fired for taking part in a Project Veritas sting operation about how FOX is muzzling their reporters never got a whole lot of attention. Usually it's Hannity that exposes those incredible Project Vertitas stings.
Very, very disappointing, Tucker.

Yes, indeed, Carlson ignores the Great Election Fraud of 2020. We know why and he knows we know why. Yes, he has been muzzled. As always, follow the money. However, Mark Levin has had no trouble reporting it and raises the issue on his show often.
The marxist totalitarian Amerika is here. And this is just the beginning, Obie will see to it there is more. Lot's more. Frank Marshall Davis and Alinsky taught him well.

Journalists no long look out for the people... they take the narrative handed to them by the socialists... it's been going on since Clinton's time... it's just more pronounced now that obama is in charge again....it's a joke on America thanks to the K Street lobbyists in DC...the money from the chi/coms flows freely to the house and senate and Americans are told to sit down and shut up and wear your masks...well... that's not happening...WE are maskless out here and living a good life again... so democrats can peddle their gloom and doom somewhere else...

I'm a big fan of tucker Carlson and watch him every night. He, along with Maria Bartiroma are the best on Fox News. I'm sure Tucker has been given a lot of latitude in his contract with Fox as well as placing him in the most prime time on their nightly schedule line up. He is number 1 in cable TV and for good reason .... because he's very good at what he does. Fox must have had all their shows swear on the Bible to never mention the election being stolen. Of course, they won't mention the disastrous calling of Arizona on Election night. Therefore, they won't talk about the audit. Fox has many flaws but Tucker isn't one of them. He gets the ratings and they get the big advertising dollars. Also, I've noticed Tucker always airs a story right after Steve Bannon does on War Room. Tucker and Steve seem to be friendly colleagues in the business and that is a good thing. By the way, one of the reasons for Fox Nation is they can report outside the box.

I don't see how it is much different than at least the last 60 years. Maybe then at least some were somewhat less biased but the NETS were just as bad we just had no way to know then.

It's as if the deep state will allow Tucker for now, in order to put forth the illusion that there's still free speech and honest media, as long as he doesn't cover election fraud and they can stay in power, and then later, when their rule is absolute, he will suddenly disappear.

On his best night, Tucker has maybe 3,300,000 viewers. That's it. Not exactly Radio Free Europe or the Voice of America. The powers that be are perfectly okay with him howling at the moon because they know it means practically nothing in a country of over 330 million LEGAL residents. It's only about 1%.
And they obviously have told him there are a few areas that are verboten, e.g., the voter recounts & audits, the stolen election, Camel-la-la's sordid path to Veep, etc. As long as TC stays in within the lines he can color whatever picture he wants! However ... they will pull the leash if he goes too far off the reservation.
Also note that the ads and commercials on Tucker NEVER have major products like beer, moderate/expensive cars, cleaners, food chains, etc. What's up with that? Think about it!

What says it all is when Fox News refused to broadcast President Trump's speech recently in North Carolina. NewsMax did. The problem at Fox News is the Murduck sons. They hate Trump and were behind the AZ's call for Biden on election night. The Murduck sons are also behind pressuring their hosts not to talk about election fraud or the stolen election. Bongino as much said so when he said a friend (probably Hannity) at Fox told him he was getting pressure to keep quiet about the election. We guess the job is more important than TRUTH!

I am happy to report that we have not watched Fox News since 3 November. Fox was part of the Coup that stole the Trump presidency. They called Arizona on 3 November and therefore are all dead to me, including Tucker. This comes from a person that watched FNC or Fox Business for 3 hours a day for 20 years; I thought I did not have it in me to be so unforgiving, but Fox was a huge lie.
I am MAGA now and watch 3 hours of cutting-edge TV by searching “Bannon Rumble”. Give it a try.
