He got what he deserved. Republican politicians take note. Listen to us! We expect you to keep your promises and do what your voters want you to do. Enough of these mealy-mouthed speeches where you say the right things but don't follow through. Take a stand, fight the MSM and Democrats, and we'll be with you. When the people are behind you, you can get things done in spite of the evil opposition--see Reagan and Trump! Otherwise, it's goodbye and good riddance.

Pence's unwarranted snipes at Trump are akin to a capital crime that existed during the reign of King Henry VIII of England known as "Great Ingratitude." Pence has forever trashed his reputation as being a straight-shooter. I now despise him.

Pence was in the position he was because so many other officials and institutions (most notably SCOTUS) had failed to stand up before the mess landed in his lap. Whether or not the president of the Senate really has the power to single-handedly decertify an election (I am personally unsure on that point) I think Pence is taking the heat for a lot of other people who failed in their duty. Also consider this: the Dems were uncertain enough of the outcome that they had to mount a false-flag operation to disrupt it.

Mike Pence was actually a very good man but not smart enough or skeptical enough to perceive the deviousness and evil in his enemies. He believed in his Christian virtues but he was unable to understand how truly deranged the left had become. When history called on him to stand and deliver against the bums rush certification of the elector votes he ran from the field in fear. He would have been better off standing his ground on January 6 and forcing the corrupt swing states to go through the exact same process they are going through now. Instead he went along to get along. History will judge these Conservatives harshly in the end. Truly a tragic end to a good man's career.

Pence was a great VP as long as he didn't actually have to do anything. When he was finally called on to do his duty to the Constitution, he folded like the swamp creature he truly is. Just go away, Mikey. Enjoy your retirement. Spend time with your wife and family. BBQ. Volunteer at church. But stay as far away from government service as you can. Pence says a lot of the right things (just like most of the Republican establishment), but when it comes to doing anything, he and they always have an excuse why they can't do what they promised. Trump's gift to the American public was showing how the two political parties are actually one that despises most of the citizens of this country.

California is adopting former Donald Trump's plan to thin out the state's 33 million acres of forests with controlled burns and raking the woodland floor —after state officials essentially laughed off the former president's idea a few years ago. Trump had suggested in 2018 that the Golden State start sweeping its forest floors of debris that often aids in the spread of wildfires. But by Aug. 2020, at the peak of the state's wildfire season, his suggestion became an ultimatum when he withheld wildfire financial aid on the basis of California's failure to clear its forests of dead trees, branches and leaves, Politico reported at the time.

The election of 2020 is going to lay bare the dereliction of the Supreme Court for all to see. The COVD-19 pandemic gave numerous state election officials an excuse to implement far-reaching changes to our election processes. Those changes obviously made our systems vulnerable to fraud. States implemented massive mail-in balloting at the same time they relaxed ballot security and voter identification. They even extended the voting periods -- to give the criminals more time to commit their fraud. All these changes were unconstitutional. (snip) The Supreme Court declined to get involved.
