Russian political activist and former world chess champion Garry Kasparov slammed NBC over its Friday interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling it "a humiliation for an American network." Appearing Wednesday on "Fox & Friends," Kasparov argued it was "a shame" NBC elevated Putin and gave him a platform without asking him tough question. Big companies are hiring for remote positions that can be performed in any state across the U.S. except one: Colorado.
At issue is a new Colorado law that requires companies with even a few employees in the state to disclose the expected salary or pay range for each open role they advertise, including remote positions. The rule’s aim is to narrow gender wage gaps and provide greater pay transparency for employees. To avoid having to disclose that information, though, some employers seeking remote workers nationwide are saying that those living in Colorado need not apply.
Across the internet, an array of job listings state the work can’t be done in Colorado.
If you attempt to watch the YouTube version of Tucker Carlson’s report on what’s going on in Atlanta from Monday night, you’ll find yourself wading through warnings that “the following content has been identified by the YouTube community as inappropriate or offensive to some audiences.”
There is nothing pornographic in Carlson’s report. Nor is there foul language.
What’s “inappropriate” or “offensive” in it is the truth about the people who run Atlanta, truth that everyone knows and understands. It’s the fact someone might speak the truth in a video appearing on YouTube that is offensive to the “YouTube community.”
The funny thing is, Carlson isn’t telling the half of it.

Plans for a more than $2 billion Southwest Washington methanol plant are “effectively ended,” according to a Friday statement from Port of Kalama officials, as Northwest Innovation Works — denied a permit by the state this year — will terminate its site lease.
The project, years in the planning, suffered a big setback in January when the state Department of Ecology rejected a request for a shoreline permit required to build the plant, which would have been one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest users of natural gas.
