Next time you're stuck in Garden State Parkway traffic that makes you slam your head on the steering wheel and wonder why on earth you chose New Jersey as home, rest assured you made a sound decision: New Jersey is the best state in America to live in, says a recent analysis by the personal finance website WalletHub. The report evaluated states based on five equally weighted categories — affordability, economy, education and health, quality of life and safety. Of all 50 states, New Jersey placed number one in safety, fifth in the "Education and Health" category, and seventh for quality of life.

As I mentioned before, a liberal friend of mine drove from Ohio to Newark, New Jersey, to attend an oldies concert. He told me that he "didn't see any Americans" when he drove though Newark. When a liberal notices things like that, you know it must be bad.

I know it's anecdotal, but I have been in exactly 2 accidents in my life. BOTH in Jersey. Guy rear ended me (stop snickering) at a 4 way stop in the middle of nowhere, minor scratches to my car. Friday eve. He was stressed, I told him to go home and hug his kids...that's what bumpers are for. He relaxed, thanked me and went to his tony gated community. :)

New Jersey is the best place to be FROM. As in "no longer there...never going back". Crushing taxes and fees. Endless traffic, hopeless future, awful schools. Horrible environment, windshield wipers literally melted driving through Newark's industrial zone in a light rain. Had to pay the final insulting ransom to get out, the property transfer tax. A garbage pit if there ever was one. A great place to be from.

I agree with Nos. 8 and 3. Besides Newark, a once fine city, don’t forget those other pots is despair like Camden, Paterson, Elizabeth and our lovely capitol, Trenton. One of the reason property taxes are sky high is because the money goes to support those hell holes. And one hasn’t truly lived until they have spent a weekend experiencing shore traffic, coming and going, on the Garden State Parkway, like taking three hours or more to go 70 miles on a Sunday evening—wonderful! But any areas away from the NY-Philly Corridor are quite nice I’ll say in defense of the State. And what the hell were you doing in Newark?

The US Supreme Court unanimously ruled on Thursday in favor of a Catholic child welfare organization, saying the charity has a right to decline to place foster children with same-sex couples. Catholic Social Services sued the City of Philadelphia after it informed private agencies that provided foster care services that it would not refer children to the agencies unless they agreed to nondiscrimination requirements. Catholic Social Services argued that it had the right to opt-out of the nondiscrimination requirement, citing the First Amendment. The Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that Philadelphia cannot force the charity to certify same-sex couples as foster parents, saying the rule violated their First Amendment rights.

Well, that escalated quickly. As my colleague Bonchie just reported, President Joe Biden lost it on a reporter asking questions of him after his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It was a moment that would have been setting newsrooms ablaze if the President was anyone but a Democrat. As Bonchie reported, the question that was asked of Biden by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins was simple. “Why are you so confident (Putin) will change his behavior, Mr. President?” she asked. Had this been any other president we may have seen a calm, well-reasoned answer. Instead, gramps got cranky and launched after Collins with unreasonable anger.

How about a new class of minors being created for Central Americans who migrate to the United States? Joe Biden is doing just that in order to create more ways for Central Americans to legally come to the United States. In this case, the minors will board planes and fly right into the U.S., with the administration’s approval. Joe Biden and his administration are overwhelmed with the border crisis he created on the southern border. As we know, Biden doesn’t actually have any new ideas of his own and this decision is no different. He is bringing back a program initiated by Barack Obama in 2014.

As I reported this afternoon, Joe Biden blew up at a CNN reporter today, insulting Kaitlan Collins multiple times after she asked him a basic question about expectations and Vladimir Putin. While Biden’s shows of senility and outbursts aren’t exactly new, that he was unable to control himself in this situation was still surprising. The real question, though, was how the media would react. They had already been mistreated, by their own claim, earlier that day. Would they go after Biden the way they went after Trump for every perceived slight? In my original write-up, I had this to say about how I thought

President Joe Biden gave Russian President Vladimir Putin almost everything he could have wanted at their Geneva summit. He elevated Putin above other leaders, including American allies; and failed to force any real concessions on Russian policy. The degree to which the summit was a disaster became evident when Putin emerged for his press conference — alone with a forum all to himself. The Biden team did not want to appear with Putin at a joint conference after the meeting– both because Biden would look frail next to Putin, and because of the media dogma that President Donald Trump had somehow done something terrible by behaving cordially

You don’t have a chance to open your mouth and you’re shot dead,” Putin told reporters at a press conference following his bilateral meeting with President Biden. While there hasn’t been much coverage, two special elections in Georgia last night have some Democrats on edge. The elections, which were held to fill state legislature seats, concluded with Republicans winning both, but that’s not really the story. Rather, the story is the change in vote share that happened in these districts, both favoring the GOP compared to their 2020 results. The results in the more rural district are important because Democrats gaining vote share a lack of turnout to compete with the suburbs those areas handed the Democrats both Georgia Senate seats in January of this year.

Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin appeared tense and uncomfortable in their first of two bilateral meetings today as the two leaders are expected to butt heads on everything from cybercrime to human rights. Both sides sought to downplay the importance of the meeting in their pre-summit spin. Indeed, no big issues will be resolved, no memorandums of understanding will be agreed to. Relations between the two powers are at a post-Cold War low and that’s not expected to change in Geneva. Biden is expected to propagandize against Putin by warning him against any more election interference, demanding he not murder his political opponents

White people – on social media and in real life – regularly appropriate African-American Vernacular English (AAVE) like "slay" and "sis" without thinking, and some of these phrases come directly from the Black LGBTQ community.
