NEW YORK — A new analysis of blood samples from 24,000 Americans taken early last year is the latest and largest study to suggest that the new coronavirus popped up in the U.S. in December 2019 — weeks before cases were first recognized by health officials. The analysis is not definitive, and some experts remain skeptical, but federal health officials are increasingly accepting a timeline in which small numbers of COVID-19 infections may have occurred in the U.S. before the world ever became aware of a dangerous new virus erupting in China. “The studies are pretty consistent,” said Natalie Thornburg

Yes. I came down with it the first week in 2020. I was working model homes for a builder. We had over 11 Chinese families (avg 5 people) who came in over a 2 day period. We were the 4th busiest subdivision in the US so we were very busy. Being in the Austin area, we would see 40 to 50 families a day from all over the US. These people did touch everything (no masks) and about a week later I was out for 4 days. Just tired and some minor chills. I thought it was so strange that I photographed the families from my laptop. I did mention to my wife that it was the worst flu I had in 40 years. DHS did pay me a visit.
This was a planned attack on our soil. I have no doubt.

I have no doubt that people I know suffered with the virus over the Thankgiving holiday.

In November of 2019, there was talk of a flu like illness going around by some doctors at Johns Hopkins Hospital where I worked. So in January of 2020 while riding in an elevator with a few doctors, I asked about this virus that was on the news. They all said the same thing. We've already been exposed to it. That exchange pretty much summed up my approach to this whole issue since then.

In January of 2020 I had a temp of 102 for several days, slept almost constantly for 5 days, first doc said it was sinus infection, then was diagnosed with pneumonia in left lung. When I finally got over it, I coughed for about 6 weeks. Have never been so sick in my life, just thought it was the usual yearly sinus infection. And many with it this year, it seems it started as a sinus infection then after they were tested, they had the Wuhan Cooties. I thought I had it again this year, got tested and it was negative, nurse said I had a 'virus' of some kind, there were thousands floating around out there. I spent most of December and January quarantining from being with friends and family who were infected. Thank you Chy-na.

I know I had it in December of 2019. I had all the symptoms and the flu test was negative. It lasted about 5 days and then I was all right. When I first heard of Covid, I thought "hmm, that sounds like what I had". I was never afraid of getting it.

As usual another bushel of lies from the CDC. I had it Thanksgiving of 2019. Don't believe anything emanating from any Government Agency anymore. Communist Death Democrat controlled Liars are running the goverment. Still want to know why all those ancient communist death democrats in Congress never got it and never died from it. Inquiring minds want to knows. Was it Luck? Coincidence? Nope. Someone needs to ask Pelosi, Hoyer, Schumer, Waters and the rest of those walking corpses.
Anyone look at how many government workers contracted or died from it in comparison with the rest of the Country?

Christmas through New Years of 2019 for my husband and I. Luckily I have some "forbidden" natural remedies at my disposal so it was not too severe, but I knew it was something different than the flu. I did feel like crap, It hung on, you'd be getting better, then the next day the fatigue would hit you like a ton of bricks.

Like fellow Texan #1, I also had it the first week of January, 2020. Got over it for a week and then got it a second time that lasted another week. Never been that exhausted in my life . . . or sick twice in a row with the same thing. I work for a large O&G EPC company with engineering and fabrication facilities in China, so we have folks going over there all the time. Somebody musta brought me back a Happy New Year present. Ni hao!

Well, #7. Does anyone from the Ay Pee have the guts to publicly ask the DoD what happened to the 300 service members who returned from the Wuhan Military Games end of October 2019? I know I sound liike a broken record, I'm just amazed no one has asked a relatively simple and straight forward question.

@10 There also was the people who worked in our embassy in Wuhan that returned here when it closed. First I heard of Wuhan was when they announced they were closing the embassy.

Very healthy, never get sick or the flu, only mild seasonal allergies. January of 2020, flu for a week. Rest and over-the-counter medicine and back to normal. Arizona.

So, the Japanese attacked at Pearl Harbor in early December 1941, killing about 3,000 people and we struck back with everything we had, eventually using nuclear weapons.
And 68 years later, the Chinese attacked us in December, 2019 and killed several hundred thousand Americans. And we have done absolutely NOTHING. In fact, we still buy billions of dollars a month of products from them.
My how times have changed.

No surprise at all. Many people reported having an unusual illness or ''bad cold''. Most people quickly recovered. Any deaths were written off as the flu.
