A British woman who lost her job for saying transgender women are “not women” and that a person’s sex cannot be changed won a battle against her ex-employer—after a court ruled that her views “must be tolerated.” A High Court judge sided with Maya Forstater, 47, in her appeal against the Center for Global Development, which refused to renew her contract in March 2019 after colleagues complained about her controversial tweets, Sky News reported.(Snip) Forstater, who lives in St. Albans, England, came under fire for her tweets in 2018 that said “male people are not women” and “sex is immutable.” She also wrote about

Statements of basic fact are not worthy of respect in a Marxist society, to paraphrase the previous judge.

The Article includes: "Amanda Glassman, executive vice president for the Center for Global Development, called the decision 'disappointing.' Today’s decision is a step backwards for inclusivity and equality for all. We’re currently considering the various paths forward with our lawyers,' Glassman said, Sky News reported." In most of these types of cases the (woke employer) eventually "finds" another plausible excuse to fire the employee. I expect this employer will eventually fire Maya Forstater unless doing so will put the Center for Global Development at serious financial risk of loss.

If this statement is true, that Ms. Glassman should welcome people like Maya Forstater and her opinions. Not everyone will think alike or should be forced to think alike. She simply stated her opinion. She did not discriminate or make hate speech. She stated the truth. A man is a man and a woman is a woman. a man may dress like and look like a woman, but he is still a man. Their chromsomes and DNA did not change just because they put on some makeup and a wig.

In the first public accounting of its kind in decades, an Associated Press investigation has found that at least 1,900 U.S. military firearms were lost or stolen during the 2010s, with some resurfacing in violent crimes. And that’s certainly an undercount. Government records covering the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force show pistols, machine guns, shotguns and automatic assault rifles have vanished from armories, supply warehouses, Navy warships and elsewhere. These weapons of war disappeared because of security failures that, until now, have not been publicly reported, including sleeping troops and a surveillance system that didn’t record.(Snip) While AP’s focus was firearms, military explosives also

Southwest Airlines grounded flights across the country Tuesday for the second time in less than 24 hours, amid reports of nationwide computer issues. Air travelers took to Twitter by the thousands with reports of what airline staff reportedly told them was a computer system outage — hours after “intermittent performance issues” with a third-party weather app forced a similar group stop Monday night. “We are aware of system issues and are working quickly to resolve. We will share more info soon,” Southwest posted on its official Twitter account at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Airline operations resumed shortly before 4 p.m., Southwest said in a statement.
