The first speaker former actress Eva Longoria introduced at the Democratic National Convention in August 2020 was Muriel Bowser, the Democrat mayor of Washington, D.C. Longoria referenced the clearing of a street in front of the White House earlier that summer, an operation the media had repeatedly falsely characterized as the violent removal of peaceful protesters with tear gas for the sole purpose of a photo opportunity for President Donald Trump. “When peaceful protesters were teargassed across from the White House, our next speaker stood up, stood strong and turned that place into the Black Lives Matter Plaza in their honor. Please welcome Mayor Muriel Bowser,” Longoria said. Amazingly,

Makes me SICK that all last year the BSmedia lied and lied, obfuscated, or gave a good leaving alone... whatever it took to harm President Trump. The truth has never been hard to find. SO, the ignorant choose to be thus. However, in their willful obliviousness they installed the stupid, vacuous and venal into the White House. All you have to do is talk with a "Trump hater" for a few minutes (or less) to discover how very little they really know, but they think they KNOW. And here we are.

They use the police and military against the American people, then try to lay all the blame on us. What despicable, lying people. Peaceful protesters don't try to burn down churches and attack police. Strange how they didn't want police or military all last year, when their "peaceful protesters" were burning down our cities, until we started demanded our rights, and then they cracked down hard with both police and military. They are using our own government against us.

violence is written into the commie thought process and taking a life or ruining a life for the preservation of the "Party" is the main, and only, concern, ie: "Uncle Joe" Stalin

That anyone believed Trump was responsible for teargassing anyone is a joke. He was president, not the police chief. Of course it was the mayor who gave the green light to tear gas people.

The claim that Trump teargassed the demonstrators is as ridiculous as the claim that a mean-spirited video provoked the attack at Benghazi.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said Tuesday that his office will solicit public donations to provide funding for his planned border wall in the state. Abbott said he plans to provide further details about the wall project later this week. The Texas governor has unveiled a slew of actions in recent days aimed at curbing a migrant crisis that has strained capacity at immigration facilities near the southern border. "I will also be providing a link that you can click on and go to, for everybody in the United States, everybody in the entire world who wants to help Texas build a border wall,

“We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban,” Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota tweeted last week to her 1.2 million followers. They responded with warm support. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was cooler. Although the speaker lives in San Francisco’s progressive echo chamber, she heads a national party and understands that most voters do not think our country is similar to the Taliban or Hamas. They have noticed a few small differences. Nor do they see a moral equivalence between Israel, which tries to avoid civilian casualties, and terrorist organizations, which use human shields and bomb pizza parlors.

Iowa Republican Rep. Ashley Hinson appeared on the House floor Monday to press for legislation that would bar Vice President Harris from taxpayer-funded international travel until she visits the southern border first. Harris, whom President Biden deputized to lead efforts in Central America to eradicate the "root causes" of the massive waves of illegal immigrants heading from there to the U.S. border, has faced strong Republican criticism for not bothering to experience firsthand the crisis she's playing a role in ending. "This crisis is worsening by the day. Yet, the vice president has refused to go to the border herself and talk to the brave law enforcement officers,

Plans for a more than $2 billion Southwest Washington methanol plant are “effectively ended,” according to a Friday statement from Port of Kalama officials, as Northwest Innovation Works — denied a permit by the state this year — will terminate its site lease. The project, years in the planning, suffered a big setback in January when the state Department of Ecology rejected a request for a shoreline permit required to build the plant, which would have been one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest users of natural gas. Northwest Innovation officials, in a statement Friday, said in the aftermath of that permit denial, Washington’s “regulatory environment has become unclear and unpredictable.”

If the grandmother of U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has suffered in Puerto Rico since Hurricane Maria in 2017, then Puerto Rican politicians are to blame, not former President Trump. That’s the assessment of an aunt of the New York Democrat, who was interviewed in Puerto Rico by Britain’s Daily Mail. Ocasio-Cortez made headlines earlier this month after posting photos from the Puerto Rico home of her 81-year-old grandmother, or "abuela," Clotilde Rivera, and claiming that the residence remained in disrepair, nearly four years after the hurricane, in part because "Trump blocked relief $ for PR." But when a Daily Mail reporter visited Rivera’s home this week

If you listened solely to Democratic talking points, including the so-called mainstream media, you would be convinced that America is a systemically racist nation and that Republicans are somehow hell bent on disenfranchising large swaths of voters. Both of these notions are patently false. In fact, thanks to sustained long-term efforts, in 2021 it is easier to register and vote now than at any point in American history – no matter what color your skin is. This is a measure progress of which we should all be proud. When the Voting Rights Act was passed in 1965, voter registration and voter turnout

Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw replied to an absurd tweet from Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts on Monday in which she disparaged the GOP’s refusal to support the so-called For the People Act. The supposed election reform bill is an example of gross federal overreach designed to ensure Republicans never win another election. “Republicans have decided that the only way they can win is by preventing American citizens from voting. That should shock every American. But we can’t just sit back and watch their power grab. We have to fight back for our democracy by passing the #ForThePeopleAct,” Warren wrote.

More than 21,000 people have signed a letter calling for U.S. Catholic bishops to cancel a planned vote on whether President Biden should receive communion. Biden, a Catholic, supports abortion rights and has long come under attack from some Catholics over that position. The vote is set to take place next week at a meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. "Pope Francis is clear that mercy, welcome, and pastoral sensitivity should be hallmarks of the church. Follow his pastoral example and listen to your brothers Cardinal Gregory and Bishop McElroy: Stop playing partisan politics with Holy Communion and cancel your planned anti-Biden vote," the petition reads.

For a woman who specialized in badgering political appointees with misleading and ambiguously worded questions when she served in the U.S. Senate, Vice President Kamala Harris sure is a hot mess when it comes to answering even the most straightforward inquiries. Some may call this “ironic.” President Joe Biden’s second in command joined NBC News’s Lester Holt recently to discuss the biggest issues facing the White House, including the chaos at the U.S.-Mexico border. Amazingly, Harris, who is heading up the federal response to the immigration crisis, was caught flat-footed by a very simple question about whether she plans to visit the border. Kamala Harris is playing a historic role in 2021: the nation’s first black, Asian, female vice president to serve as a sacrificial lamb. Like many other women before her, Harris has been tasked with coming in late to clean up a mess made by her boss. Joe Biden probably wouldn’t do too well in a “Jeopardy!” contest, or even on a circle-a-word puzzle, but he’s smart enough to know that when you’ve got a problem you can’t solve, you should grandly announce a plan to deal with it by … fobbing it off on someone else. The announcement by Israeli opposition politicians that they had secured enough seats in the Knesset, or Israeli parliament, to form a coalition to oust sitting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu represents a potential sea change in that country’s politics. Netanyahu is the longest-serving prime minister in Israel’s history — holding that position continuously since 2009, after an earlier stint from 1996 to 1999 — and has deeply imprinted his ideology and leadership style on the country. Many analysts say Netanyahu, who is currently facing indictment for breach of trust, fraud and bribery, has exacerbated deep dysfunctions in Israeli parliamentary politics. Israel has had four separate Knesset elections

American media is so infected with leftism that it’s ideologically slanted to the point of tipping over and it’s highly possible that the media doesn’t even know it. There is one big thing wrong with the American dream of owning one's own home: the price. Now that the pandemic is easing across much of the country, prices are skyrocketing — just like at the peak of the housing bubble, houses are being snapped up for well over the asking price in a matter of hours. The Case-Shiller home price index saw an annualized growth rate of 13.3 percent in March, the highest figure in more than seven years.
