Mexican beauty queen with Miss

Back in the old days, beauty queens would tell us their fondest desire was for ... whirled peas. Nowadays, it's all about telling gringo how to run his country. Which is the buried news we got from an interview with the newly crowned Miss Universe from Chihuahua, Mexico, Andrea Meza, who told Fox News with characteristic breathiness: Meza: I want to take advantage of every single moment. I want to do the most I can with it. (Snip). I want to give women a voice. I want to let the world know the conditions of the Latin community here in the States,

Comments:

So much for whirled peas.

It's just more pageant winner noise. They know the routine. Stand on stage, talk about saving the world from crisis of the day, win the tiara, and for next year rake in the cash occasionally giving a random speech while signing the contracts to sell make up snd clothing with the big brand names. Is there a single pageant winner we ever heard from again more than a month after she won? Can any of you name any pageant winner from any beauty contest, ever? She will collect her cash and move on. She doesn't believe or care one bit about what she's saying. Someone wrote it for her.

The "Latin Communities" have a great deal of territory to reside in Central and South America. Why not spend your time imparting your endless wisdom to Mexico's politicians to help clean up the mess in your own God-forsaken pesthole of a country.

Do the Miss Universe contestants get judged and scored on political correctness? Did she have the highest PC score? All she is doing is parroting PC. Don't ask her to say something original. She probably doesn't have the brain matter to do that.

Vogue declares Jill Biden 'a goddess'

Vogue, the world's fashion bible, has placed Jill Biden on her cover as the epitome of fashion. She's a "goddess," they explain. Which is a stretch, given that the first lady has sported getups like this loud red zebra print dress, or these huge-print patterned pantyhose worn with elfin spike heel ankle boots. It goes to show that its whole schtick is politics, not fashion. After all, the big fashion bible for the world's stylish somehow managed to overlook the nation's truly stylish first lady, Melania Trump, a former super-model, who not only was quite beautiful, but age-appropriate and elegant in her four years as first lady.

Violent crimes are soaring in places like New York City. The left has called for defunding the police, and as leftist politicians bow down to them, police are retiring in droves. What does the queen of the far left have to say now that the news is getting out? All that far-left socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can offer is: Don't be hysterical. According to Fox News: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D, N.Y., has expressed concern that recent headlines referring to spikes in crime across U.S. cities are stirring up "hysteria."

Kamala Harris has been in politics for 18 years, yet still can't quite figure out how to keep staff. The departure of two top travel advance-women, just as she's heading for the border in a hastily announced trip to get there before President Trump does, suggests that things are getting very bad indeed. According to a softly cushioned report in the New York Times: Two top aides who oversee travel for Vice President Kamala Harris are departing, leaving the vice president with her critical support staff in flux as she seeks to ramp up travel ahead of big vaccine and voting rights pushes she is planning through July.

Kamala Harris is going to the border. But not just any part of the border. The destination of choice for Biden's migrant-surge czar in her quest to find all those "root causes" of illegal migration from Central America is ... El Paso. One problem: It's not the destination of choice for Central America's illegal border crossers. Some do cross there, but most of those apprehended by the lawmen in El Paso come from someplace else. Here's the Border Patrol's statistics for 2021 on who's crossing in its El Paso corridor.

How many times have we read about the “extremist right” and how “radicalized” conservatives have become? Wikipedia has a long entry on the “radical right,” but nothing on the “radical left.” Los Angeles Times reporter Jackie Calmes has a new book out subtitled “The Radicalization of the Republican Party.” CNN’s Brian Stelter says that “Experts warn about the radicalizing power of right-wing media networks.” The list is endless. Enough! This is the mother of Big Lies! Every day, it is the Democratic Party that is pushing an agenda more radical than yesterday.

According to text messages found on Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop computer, he conversed with an employee pal at the famed old grand West Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont, a celebrity redoubt he had been using as his flophouse, writing: “Did you know that I have to get pre-approval

Eighty-three days into Kamala Harris's tenure as Joe Biden's border czar, a slew of new border detention facilities are suddenly being constructed. Those are to house the growing wave of illegal border crossers. Seems that Harris hasn't been effective. According to Breitbart News: Construction is set to begin on temporary detention facilities at the Border Patrol’s Interstate 35 checkpoint and other locations in Laredo, Texas. The shelters are military-style general-purpose tents and can house 60 people per tent. Plans for the climate-controlled structures, designed only for short-term detention, do not include funding for contract personnel to staff the facilities.

Kamala Harris is under some kind of pressure. It's hard to say what, given the working thesis (first seen in a tweet by Newt Gingrich) that Joe Biden appointed her to the position of border czar because he knew she would do nothing. But it's pretty obvious there were signs of strain in her face as she met with the president of Guatemala on Monday and then held a dual press conference. She looked like hell. Here are some camera shots from the NBC News report on the television set: [Snip for pictures] She actually looks pretty lost, uncertain, way out of her comfort zone. Not ready for prime time.
