UPDATED at 7:15 p.m.: Just hours after Lip Sync Battle co-host Chrissy Teigen broke her monthlong silence after bullying allegations from former reality star Courtney Stodden, another higher profile reality TV personality has accused her of a concerted campaign to ruin his career.
Michael Costello, who came in 4th place on season 8 of Project Runway and was the second runner up on Project Runway All Stars in 2012, posted a lengthy testimonial to Instagram on Monday in which he accused Teigen of a years-long effort to destroy his career.
The designer said it began when he was the victim of an online hoax

Remember when we were assured that Joe Biden was going to bring about a return of normalcy and decorum? Yeah, good times.
That’s all gone out the window since Biden officially took office and things aren’t getting any better. When the president’s mind is not melting, he’s pushing a far-left agenda that is enough to make Bernie Sanders blush. Even still, you’d expect the partisan rantings to be few and far between while overseas at the G7, where he’s already beclowned himself multiple times throughout the last week.
Yet, because Biden is, in fact, not a return to normalcy, he launched into an embarrassing tirade against the Republican Party

President Biden on Monday claimed the Republican party is “vastly diminished in numbers” after the January 6 Capitol riot and expressed disappointment in GOP senators who “know better” than to vote against an investigation into the riot but are “worried about being primaried.” Biden’s remarks came in response to a question about whether NATO allies are shaken by the Capitol riot and the actions of former President Trump.

During a one-on-one meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the summit of G-7 leaders, President Biden was asked whether he’d persuaded U.S. allies that, to use his phrasing, America is back. Biden gestured at Macron: “Ask him.”
“Yeah,” Macron said, smiling. “Definitely.”
This is actually a response that would seemingly be common among Macron’s countrymen. Pew Research Center polling found a huge surge in how positively the United States was viewed by citizens of allied countries from 2020 to 2021 — that is, from the administration of Donald Trump to that of Biden.

Joe Biden was supposed to have a press conference after NATO meetings today in Belgium at 9:00 p.m.
But he was at least three hours late with 100 members of the press waiting that whole time, with no real explanation being given to the press.
So when Biden finally showed up, it might have been better had he not done so, because they were primed and ready.
One of them asked him about Vladimir Putin and asked Biden if he thought Putin was a killer, a term that Biden has used for Putin in the past. That seemed to be too much for Biden, who just started weirdly laughing.

On Monday Joe Biden attended a NATO summit in Brussels, Belgium, after which he conducted a 30-minute press conference.
My colleague Nick Arama has specifically examined Biden’s seeming inability to answer a question posed by CNN’s Jeff Zeleny about Biden having previously called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “killer” and how that might impact their talks in his upcoming summit meeting with Putin.
But the overall tenor of Biden’s press conference put on display for the European press and the entire world the obvious mental deficiencies that Joe Biden is suffering from. His condition — however it might be diagnosed — is not constant

The new book Forget the Alamo is making waves with its claims that the Texas Revolution was a war to preserve slavery, and that the Alamo defenders weren’t brave. I’ve already tackled the absurd and outrageous bravery claim. It’s beneath contempt.
The mainstream media thus far have not treated the book’s sensational claims with anything approaching fairness or skepticism. If you could capture a live shot of all of the articles and other media stories about Forget the Alamo they would look quite a bit like this: Where is the independent inquiry? Where are the reporters who have covered the Alamo for yearse the news

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Monday confirmed that if he becomes majority leader again, he would block President Joe Biden from filling a Supreme Court seat if one becomes vacant in 2024, and possibly in 2023 as well.
McConnell told the conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt that if he were leading the Senate, it would be "highly unlikely" that he'd allow Biden to fill a seat if one came up in the last year of his presidency.
"Well, I think in the middle of a presidential election, if you have a Senate of the opposite party of the president, you have to go back to the 1880s

On Monday, Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon announced that The New York Times had agreed to drop its arguably defamatory attack on the Babylon Bee after the Bee sent multiple demand letters threatening a defamation lawsuit. Under the guise of reporting, the Times claimed that the Bee “frequently trafficked in misinformation under the guise of satire.” While the Times originally agreed to weaken the attack somewhat, its updated story still suggested that the Bee is one of the “far-right misinformation sites that used ‘satire’ claims to protect their presence on [Facebook].”
Yet the Times finally agreed to drop the attacks altogether on Friday.

President Joe Biden faces continuing resistance from Senate Democrats over his infrastructure, despite only needing 50 Senate Democrats to pass his gargantuan legislation.
Biden faces two options to pass an infrastructure bill by either passing a more moderate version with a bipartisan group of Senate Republicans and Democrats that could survive the 60-vote filibuster, or he could pass the legislation with only 50 votes using budgetary reconciliation.
If Biden fails to gain the support of ten Senate Republicans to pass the bill through the Senate, he will have to use reconciliation, although many Senate Democrats have balked at his mammoth proposal for its high price tag

My colleague Jennifer Oliver O’Connell reported earlier on a mass shooting in Austin, Texas, late Friday night.
Fourteen people were wounded, with at least two critically-injured during a shooting in downtown Austin.
Two men are suspected of being involved in the shooting, according to the initial reports; although the police later said the number was unclear, but there was a description of one of the suspect.
But it’s what the Austin American-Statesman said about that suspect that is causing a lot of talk today.
At the bottom of its article on the shooting, the paper included the following.
Editor’s note: Police have only released a vague description of the suspected shooter
