WaPo reporter: Say, when will Biden hold his
*second* press conference?

Original Article

Answer: He’s just not that into you. Or anyone, as Paul Farhi observes today on Twitter. Not only did Joe Biden wait longer for an open presser than any president in the past century, he’s also not doing sit-down interviews with print or TV outlets. It’s “unusual,” Farhi comments. That’s an understatement: Lest anyone get the wrong idea, Farhi isn’t a crypto-righty at the WaPo. He’s one of their media-beat reporters, which makes this issue within his wheelhouse. It’s not surprising that Farhi or someone like him would raise Biden’s reluctance to face the press in practically any format as an issue. What is surprising is that

Let me ask you this: Throughout history, how many press conferences can you recall tyrants, or people with something to hide, having held? Off hand, I can't think of any. I must've missed The Hitler Press Conferences on The History Channel....that is, when THC actually dealt with history. Fidel? Brezhnev? Stalin? Mao? Pol Pot? Others? Oh, sure, they came out and they gave speeches, but it was never an opportunity for any sort of questioning of the leader. Biden doesn't want to do it because he doesn't like being questioned. His staff doesn't want him to do it because he'll do or say something embarrassing. Maybe Joe should let Karmella do his press conferences from now on since we know how well THOSE all go, yeah?

Biden is not reluctant, he is perfectly happy standing in front of the teleprompter, he just doesn't remember what he's doing there. Doctor Jill does her best to keep him awake, wipe the drool from his face and make sure his Depends aren't leaking but those events are too difficult to hide from the cameras. If Joe was coherent, what could he tell us besides how much money he has spent and that everything he has done has resulted in extreme damage or failure. He has canceled a few things but his "Build Back Better" program so far is "Do as much harm as possible to America." There is no way to spin that into a good thing so he goes along with Lincoln's "Remain silent and be thought a fool."

Who are they kidding? Everyone, including all the media, know that Biden is deep into senility and is not able to coherently answer questions requiring knowledge, thought, or critical thinking. They can pretend that Biden is perfectly normal, but just hasn't had time or inclination to deal with the media. No one is fooled!

Pray tell, what is it you think Biden has to say? I already mute the TV or radio when he appears, same for Psaki, Harris, Pelosi, et al. If not for cartoons, the cooking channel and judge shows, I'd have no use for the boob-tube.

The press 'corpse' must be starving and reminiscing of past days when they could do their mortal combat with President Trump then write their 'opinion pieces'. With the buffoon, Joe Biden, they get nothing then report nothing the only thing that comes out are one and half minute gaffs on You Tube. Joe Biden has been for five decades the most uninteresting, ignorant, gaff prone person in all of Washington. Biden is now in his twilight years of his time and the press will get more of nothing. The press 'corpse' hasn't seen anything yet until Harris gets the spotlight.

He's still recovery from his first news conference. Why doesn't the news media wait until he's dead for his second news conference. His response to the questions will be just as coherent as his first news conference.

A Black mother slammed critical race theory (CRT) on Thursday, telling the Florida Board of Education that it was teaching hate and ruining the "greatest country in the world." "Just coming off of May 31, marking the 100 years [since] the Tulsa riots, it is sad that we are even contemplating something like critical race theory, where children will be separated by their skin color and deemed permanently oppressors or oppressed in 2021," said mom Quisha King. King's comments came after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis asked the school board to pass a rule banning CRT and associated ideas in schools.

Amid increased scrutiny of Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullor's lavish spending, including her reported purchases of multiple homes totaling upward of $3 million and the installation of fencing and an electric gate around one of those homes, the original ten BLM chapters are demanding more accountability and transparency from the BLM global network. The BLM infighting comes on the heels of Cullors announcing she would step down from her role as the BLM foundation executive director as questions surrounding her finances swirled. Cullors, however, denied that her decision to resign had anything to do with that controversy, insisting she had planned to step away for more than a year.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott sent a joint letter to the governors of the 48 other states asking them to send additional law enforcement staff and resources to help patrol their states' borders with Mexico. Ducey published a copy of the letter on Thursday afternoon, timing its publication with a border summit that Abbott kicked off in Del Rio, Texas. In their letter, both Republican governors claim the administration of President Joe Biden "has proven unwilling or unable" to secure the U.S.-Mexico border, citing a 20-year high in migrant encounters in the month of May as evidence of an "open-border disaster."

WASHINGTON — A bipartisan group of 10 senators said Thursday that they had reached a tentative infrastructure deal, but skepticism from Republicans and impatience from Democrats left its prospects uncertain as lawmakers departed for the weekend. "We are discussing our approach with our respective colleagues, and the White House, and remain optimistic that this can lay the groundwork to garner broad support from both parties and meet America's infrastructure needs," said a joint statement from the senators, who include Mitt Romney, R-Utah; Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz.; Rob Portman, R-Ohio; and Jon Tester, D-Mont. This should be prompting Republican-led legislatures to begin doing election audits immediately and passing voter integrity laws.
