The number of COVID-19 deaths in Alameda County, California, fell by about 25 percent after health officials changed their methodology for total mortality count, removing deaths that weren’t a “direct result” of the disease or “in whom death caused by COVID-19 could not be ruled out.” (Snip)“Alameda County previously included any person who died while infected with the virus in the total COVID-19 deaths for the County,” the county’s public health department said in a statement (pdf). For example, someone who tested positive for the virus before dying in a car accident would still have been counted toward the COVID-19 death toll.

OP, pretty sure most all of them did.
If you multiply 3000 counties (yes, yes there are a few more) by just 100 bogus 'died with' counts as outlined in the article you get 300,000 according to my calculator. Kinda puts a new perspective on how much this was a propaganda generated 'pandemic'.

Guess they weeded out the suicides, car accidents, shooting and skydiving accidents...

FTA: Alameda County Health Officer Dr. Nicholas Moss told The Mercury News that his department was aware of the inconsistency between the county and state’s numbers, but it had to put off the change because of a major surge in infections during the winter. In other words, they did this intentionally until Trump was out of office.

The iconic lakerman (that would be me) posted way back in February or March of 2020 to keep an eye on the reported regular seasonal flu cases and deaths.
In addition, it is important to remember that the CDC instructed governments and hospitals, back in April of 2020, to show kung flu as cause of death in co-morbitity situations, and also use the Kung Flu diagnosis, if the patient had any of the symptoms of Kung Flu, absent a lab test.

Like correct vote counting the death count is being corrected since they ridded themselves of the mean tweeting President Trump. Now we can get back to other lies to keep us scared.

What most amazes me about the counts is that the CDC has several times saiud that the counts are overcounted. They said three weeks ago, on Friday...always on a fFriday, that the "real" death rate as described here too is 6% of the stated death rate. That put Covid at 35-40000 deaths.
So for that many deaths, we killed the economy and wore masks like idiots for a year. By the by, Fauci didnt need to tell me masks were useless. The virus is five microns. Anything with a weave larger than that is useless. Like shooting golfballs through a chainlink fence

My daughter's dentist with a history of heart problems drove home after work, got out of his car and collapsed in the driveway. Sad, a good man, but things like that happen. Then comes the death certifcate...death caused by covid. The county coroners office was accused of padding death figures. The widow joined many others in complaining about this.

This has gone on since it started nationwide. All of the reported deaths were fake numbers. Lies. All intended to create fear and panic in the people. A total scam.

No worries, I'm sure they all paid the government bribe money back. $13K per false death certificate multiplies out to a very hefty sum.

I was talking to a nurse in a hospital in southeastern Colorado in June of last year and the discussions turned to Wuhan flu. She pointed out that we have to keep in mind the difference between "died of" and "died with" Wuhan flu. She had treated a 80+ year old patient who died, but she said he was already dying of two or three other serious illnesses when he got Wuhan. It might have shortened his live by a few days or so.
This was the first time I started thinking in these terms. There is a HUGE difference of "died from" and "died with", and also, a LOT of deaths were PRESUMED to be Wuhan flu, without any real proof that the patient even had it.
The Feds put, basically, a bounty on Wuhan flu deaths and guess what....lots of hospitals were happy to get the bounty money by faking the paperwork.

surprise me and tell me that there are no financial rewards for do this
seems to me some standard data analysis would quantify the correlation to drops in other causes of death

Change the number to fit the agenda.
The electorate sheep are too busy watching re-runs of the Kardashians to notice or care.

Alameda County did a revised count, which aligned with the state’s method that counted as Covid deaths only those that could be directly attributed to Covid. I wonder how many states or counties used the “died with Covid” rather than the accurate “died of Covid” method? We had read months ago of Covid tests’ having been given post mortem, and a positive test caused Covid to be recorded as cause of death.
