Fox News reports: "U.S. Border Patrol agents have rescued a group of migrants seen on video nearly drowning while trying to cross the Rio Grande River into Texas. The incident unfolded Wednesday in Roma, west of McAllen, and was captured on video by Fox News’ Sara Carter. "I’m drowning!" one of the migrants could be heard yelling as body parts are seen emerging and then disappearing from the surface of the water. Agents rushed down the river bank and came to the aid of the migrants."

When is Kamala Harris going to fix the border? Oh, that's right, she's too busy to do her job.

Quit calling them "migrants''. Human beings are not migratory and illegal aliens are not migrating. They are illegally entering crossing a border for economic purposes.

And why aren't they dumping back on the Mexico side, if they feel the need to rescue them? Just drop them into the shallow water on that side and leave.

As soon as I see the word 'migrants' I know the article is leftist tripe. These illegals couldn't drown in the Rio Grande if they weren't trying to invade the country in the first place. I have no sympathy for them, nor do I think we should waste any resources on trying to rescue them. They made their choice.

Swim partway, call for help, and the Border Patrol Welcome Wagon will bring you the rest of the way in, and onto the backs of the American taxpayer. It's like the coyote who, once inside New America, hands himself over to Border Patrol so he can get a free ride home. Aye, caramba!

I am not advocating this, but I keep wondering what these illegals would do if we simply stepped back from the border...no rescues, no beds, no food, no shelter, no nothing. The residents along the border sit at home with their PPDs (personal protection devices).....

Why did the border patrol become lifeguards? They oughta be marching the criminals back into the Rio or the desert across the border back into Mexico. Do your job and PROTECT America as you swore to do.

Noted constitutional expert and Harvard law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz said Saturday former President Donald Trump’s enemies are trying to “use the law in a weaponized way” to attack him politically using lawsuits premised on the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. “I think what he did was protected as president by executive privilege and by the First Amendment,” Dershowitz said on Newsmax TV’s “Saturday Report.” “This is an attempt to use the law as a weapon.” Dershowitz said legal actions very often are premised on political retribution, including in New York, where Attorney General Letitia James “ran for office on the campaign promise of getting Trump.”

On Saturday, USA Today published an op-ed written by Chelsea Mitchell, one of three female athletes at the center of a legal challenge to Connecticut’s unfair transgender rules that allow biological males to compete against females in women’s sports. Apparently facing some backlash a few days after publication, USA Today altered Mitchell’s words and claimed that she had used “hurtful language.” On Tuesday, USA Today slapped an “Editor’s Note” at the top of the article. The note reads, “This column has been updated to reflect USA TODAY’s standards and style guidelines. We regret that hurtful language was used.”
