President Biden called on Americans to “reflect on the deep roots of racial terror in our Nation” and “recommit to the work of rooting out systemic racism” in a proclamation Monday marking the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa race massacre. The president also urged Americans to “commemorate the tremendous loss of life and security that occurred over those 2 days in 1921, to celebrate the bravery and resilience of those who survived and sought to rebuild their lives again, and commit together to eradicate systemic racism and help to rebuild communities and lives that have been destroyed by it.”

We HAD put this far behind us in the 60s, 70s and 80s but Jesse Jackson, LBJ, Al Sharpton, Obama, BLM and now Evil Ben Crump saw political power and money to be gained from stoking the fires of racial hatred.
And they have gained their money and some power, and racial hatred is now their lever to power, and Traitor Joe is tossing some more gasoline on the fires of hate.

Never heard of this growing up. Never heard of it until last year. One would think that all during the sixties and early seventies someone would have mentioned this. I guess the America haters had to have time embellish the story.

I don't understand why this is so significant as far as blacks being killed. More blacks die over the course of a normal weekend in Chicago than died in this "massacre."

In 1921 Oklahoma was almost totally Democrat and it was called Little Dixie.

Biden is just trolling Black voters again, as there is nobody alive today who had anything to do with what occurred in Tulsa over 100 years ago.

I have a theory why people say “systemic racism”. They think it makes them sound smart. Ask them to define it and they have no answer. Probably because it doesn’t mean anything.

Of course there is never any mention of Al Gore Sr. A screaming racist. Why not hit up Al Jr. for a couple of bucks? The hypocrisy is total with every rat, from the top to the bottom.

The only "racial terror" I see is caused by those marching in the streets, not from the innocent passers by or shop owners in their path. Biden's brain is officially fried and only needs one of his handlers to declare him "done."

Go to any black ghetto in the US - NYC, Chicago, LA, Houston, New Orleans, etc and blacks are killing blacks at a much greater rate. So, I'm sorry it happened, it was wrong, my family lived in NY and had nothing to do with it, so pfft!

Oklahoma residents were mostly Indians & blacks until the 1903 oil boom. Then lots of young men came from all over - mostly from the south to work in the oil fields. That likely set the stage for the Tulsa tragedy - these 'new' people who had seen only black slaves & sharecroppers blamed blacks for the Civil War & the dislocations it caused. Envy fueled the massacre - the black neighborhood was prosperous & 'acting white' - something that black kids do not aspire to these days.

While a very sore stain on Oklahoma history that should never be repeated, it occurred 100 years ago! The racism and racial animosity that fueled the violence has long passed. Some people, unfortunately, just can't seem to let this go however. Learn from the past do it is not repeated. Do not beat us with it and condemn todays culture using the values and mores of the past! If Biden continues to do this, racial harmony will never get better. Most crime against black people is by black people. If black's want to improve their lot in life today, they should emulate what made the black people of Tulsa in 1921 (pre-massacre) so successful.
