Donald Trump described former House Speaker Paul Ryan as 'a curse to the Republican Party' after Ryan waded into the GOP's civil war and urged members not to rely on the 'populist appeal of one personality.'After keeping a low profile for two years, Ryan delivered his remarks in a Thursday evening address at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California.'It was horrifying to see a presidency come to such a dishonorable and disgraceful end,' he said of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol as he described the party being at a crossroads.Trump fired back on Friday morning, dismissing Ryan as a 'Republican in name only.'

Paul Ryan is an excellent example of pretty much everything that's wrong with the Republican party these days.

One thought...After the 2016 elections Republicans controlled the White House, the House of Representatives, and the U.S. Senate and what did this fool Ryan do with that overwhelming support from the American public? ‘Nuff said.

Eddie Munster is one of the reasons I almost left the republican party. He destroyed the House of Representatives. I said all along that he turned his back on the conservatives and Tea Party (same thing Boehner did). Then came President Trump, who saved this country from clowns like him. Let's watch Eddie go down in flames next year and take all those RINOs with him. This includes getting Kevin McCarthy out of office.

#6, I hope you can turn that "almost left" into a solid "left." The republicans have already begun the next campaign fund-raising season with big talk about winning back seats but no talk of enforcing honest elections and changing anything in the way they ignore us conservative voters. Every survey that Ronna sends, I identify as independent and give them the blistering truth accompanied by no money. All they deserve now is a rude awakening.

FTA: ''... urged members not to rely on the 'populist appeal of one personality.''
It isn't just one personality, it's 80-100 million, or more, personalities. More than the RINOs can muster!

Is there anyone in politics today who is more in tune with the American people than President Trump? Just two of the things I love about him - he says it out loud and he never pulls his punches.

The dishonorable end of the last election was not Trumps fault, it was the fault of Republicans like Ryan who stabbed him in the back the whole time he was working miracles for America.

So Ryan is responsible for cratering the GOP due to his poor leadership, then Fox hires him and he craters Fox. Now he's blaming Trump for both? At what point does one become reflective and ask.......am I the problem?
Fox has just purged a couple of lefties due to its cratering ratings. Now they are trying to "appear" to be doing something about it. Sorry, if Benedict Arnold was in business and tried to make amends, who would fall into that trap?
Fox is attempting to give free access to veterans for Fox Nation for a limited time. That is an insult after what they have done. My opinion is that they should wither on the vine.

If Ryan feels like helping the republicans he would have backed the party leader in 2016 accepting the win controling the congress while backing the new party leader. What happened, most followed Ryan bashing Trump early in his first year before the Presidents success was shown believing the media print. Ryan chose wrong and lost the entire party turning it over to Pelosi. McConnell is doing the same just like Pence did. I sure do miss 'mean tweets' on days like this. Just shut up Ryan your days are over. RINOs and republican lites are smelling defeat from rebellion and no amount of talking strategy is going to save them.

Ryano and his cohorts need to leave the GOP to create their own RINO party who seek to make a buck.
Get the H out of the party and let the grassroots pocketbook people replace those greedy bastids

all if the cable news networks are losing viewers . Americans have become weary of the partisan prooaganda and truth omission of CNN and MSNBC and perceive FOX as traitors for not supporting Trump.

Paul Ryan cannot even hold a seat in government anymore. His own Congressional district rejected him because he was a RINO. Its absurd that someone that cannot even hold a seat is the messenger for the Republican party.
Trump is right. If this is the direction the Republican party takes, they are doomed. People are already leaving the Republican party. Making Paul Ryan, who cannot even hold a seat, the face of the Republican party will only make them lose more supporters.

Can't believe this dufus worked for Bill Bennett. Obviously education does not equal smarts.
If Republicans like this go back to the old Republican ways they will lose 75 Millions Republicans.
Trump isn't the head of the Party because of personality. He is the head because he represents the Tea Party, American first voter...ie. America.

The Ryan type thinks they are attacking Trump, one person. No, you are attacking us, Ryan. You are attacking me, my family, my ancestors, the constitution, our forefathers, our values, our traditions, capitalism, liberty, property rights, and personal responsibility. The only person that stands as one person alone is you, Paul Ryan.
