According to preliminary details from police, Jenkins said he parked his 2016 Rolls Royce in the lot before boarding a flight on May 5. He told the police when he returned May 27, his vehicle was gone. Officers immediately placed a lookout on the vehicle and updated its

it's either in a container on the way to russia or the middle east. or parted out and on ebay. I would check the maintenance records and payment history before paying out on that claim and do a depo on the owner, But, given it appears the owner is likely one of the countries new not to be questioned group, the insurance will prob just write him a check.

"Luxury car" in the "economy" lot? Disconnect. If you can afford a "Roller" or "Double R" in the parlance of the "inner city", should be able to afford Valet Parking. Couldn't he afford a cab or limo to the airport? A friend to drive him? Cheaper than having your car stolen. Not that there's any possible fraud going on here,......But Noooooo. I always leave my Ferrari, Lambo or Porsche at home when I fly away for the weekend or longer.

U.S. employers added fewer than expected jobs last month as extended unemployment benefits encouraged workers to stay home. Employers added 559,000 jobs in May, the Labor Department said Friday, missing the addition of 650,000 jobs that analysts surveyed by Refinitiv were expecting. April’s reading was revised higher by 12,000 to 278,000. The unemployment rate, meanwhile, declined 0.3 percentage points to 5.8%, its lowest since the pandemic caused businesses to shut their doors in March 2020. Despite the gains, the U.S. economy has 7.6 million, or 5%, fewer workers from its February 2020 pre-pandemic level. "Only a few months ago we

Vice President Kamala Harris had one job: Be the woman of color Joe Biden needed at his side to win the presidency. That job was completed in November, and now, it's clear that Harris doesn't know what to do with herself. A New York Times story on Thursday attempted to make something out of Biden's recent announcement that he was appointing Harris to lead his administration's efforts to dismantle all the ways that states organize their elections. (This is often referred to by Democrats and the media as “expanding voter rights.”) "Wow. Sounds like a serious undertaking," you might say.

The intersection, informally known as George Floyd Square, has been the site of a memorial for Floyd since his death at that location more than a year ago. It had been closed to traffic since, and some city officials and community members pushed to reopen the streets due to concerns over access and public safety. She said searchers have also determined there are three additional burials in the area, bringing to 15 the number of coffins they’ve found at the site. The search began last year

How old is too old to be a United States senator? Consider, for a moment, the octogenarians in office. Dianne Feinstein, the oldest sitting senator, turns 88 this month. She’s served since 1992. KEOKUK, Iowa — Democrats lost last year's election for Iowa's 2nd Congressional District by the narrowest margin in a House race in almost 40 years. After the six-vote heartbreaker, some expected Democrat Rita Hart to immediately declare a rematch in the southeast district long held by her party. So far, no Democrat has stepped up to run. The hesitancy to jump into a district now as competitive as they come is one measure of Democrats' fatigue in a state viewed for decades as a true battleground. From now on the WHO will use Greek letters to refer to variants first detected in countries like the UK, South Africa and India. The UK variant for instance is labelled as Alpha, the South African Beta, and the Indian as Delta. The WHO said this was to simplify discussions but also to help remove some stigma from the names. Earlier this month the Indian government criticised the naming of variant B.1.617.2 - first detected in the country last October - as the "Indian variant", though the

Millions of sub-Saharan blacks seek to immigrate to America. They apparently haven’t gotten the memo that this is a wretched land of systemic anti-black racism. When they get here, they’re strangers in a strange land. English is usually not their first language. Their skin color tends to be very black, not the lighter color of American blacks who have an average of about 25% white blood in them. Despite those handicaps, they do better than American-born blacks. Compared to American-born blacks, their income is about a third higher, their poverty rates are significantly lower, their educational achievement is higher, and their marriage rate is double.
