I understand that most of you were not alive at the time and that history is no longer taught but: March 1, 1954, four Puerto Rican nationalists wanting Puerto Rico's independence from US rule, shot 30 rounds from semi-automatic pistols from the Ladies' Gallery (a balcony for visitors) of the House of Representatives chamber in the United States Capitol. A little more serious than January 6th. Several Congressmen shot.

As I recall studying the Civil War, it was southern democrats that started the Civil War to save the institution of slavery by firing on Fort Sumter. Real cannon balls fired from what is now battery park just about destroyed Fort Sumter. I don't recall anything being fired at the Capitol except by the Capitol police which killed one person. No other guns were involved, and aside from a few broken windows and Piglosi's laptop being stolen, it was a fairly uneventful event by a fairly orderly crowd that is being portrayed as a mob by the MSM and democrats.

Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might wish there was an edit button on Twitter, as she was mocked hilariously after she posted a single message on the Rolling Stone hit piece about January 6.In case you missed it, Rolling Stone published an article claiming that White House staffers and GOP members of Congress promised pardons to Jan. 6 organizers. AOC couldn’t wait to get her hands on Twitter to chirp about it, but it didn’t go all that well once people saw her message and noted one key detail. The Democrat lawmaker quote-tweeted someone and added the following statement: “Any member of Congress who helped plot a terrorist attack

Doug Wilder, Virginia's only black ex-governor in history and a Democrat, warned Vice President Kamala Harris and Terry McAuliffe that churches could lose their tax-exempt status if they play a video for the gubernatorial candidate's contentious election next week. Harris cut a video urging churchgoers to vote for McAuliffe, a Democrat that was to play at hundreds of black churches across the Old Dominion on Sunday. 'Well, it's very good for her to do that, causing these churches to lose their tax-exempt status,' Wilder sneered, referencing the Johnson Amendment, which bans organizations that are tax-exempt from supporting any candidate.

This morning, Rolling Stone published a story claiming a major bombshell regarding January 6th. Specifically, the headline reads “Exclusive: Jan. 6 Protest Organizers Say They Participated in ‘Dozens’ of Planning Meetings With Members of Congress and White House Staff.” It was written by Hunter Walker, one of the far-left hatchet men over at that outlet, and is clearly meant to stoke the conspiracy theory that Republican congressional members helped plan an “insurrection.” That, of course, set social media on fire, and those predisposed to believe such nonsense ran with it. Aiming to become a hero to progressives, on Jan. 13 the mayor said he would yank the Trump Organization’s longtime concession contracts to operate the historic Central Park carousel, Wollman and Lasker skating rinks in the park, and the Trump Ferry Point Golf Course in The Bronx.
