Biden’s unprecedented purge of

The Biden administration wants to force taxpayers to continue to pay for ugly, unpopular federal buildings and is resorting to possibly illegal demands for resignations-or-be-fired from a federal advisory board more than a century old. In February, Biden scrapped Trump’s executive order, “Promoting Beautiful Federal Civic Architecture” that …harshly criticized modern architectural styles and instead lauded Roman-Greco-inspired buildings. (snip) Yesterday, the Biden administration notified 4 Trump-appointed members of the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts that they must resign by the end of the business day or be terminated, despite the fact that there is no provision for firing members who are appointed to 4-year terms.

AKA Ugly. That's my opinion. I also think it's reflective of the liberal mindset.

I sincerely hope they challenge **s actions in court. I have a friend, a retired Army COL, who sits on a NPS FACA on reuse and restoration of a national park. He was appointed originally during the Obama admin as head of a volunteer group in this national park plus an engineer and successively renewed. He believes he will be removed since he is retired Army and active in Republican politics in a different state.

I don't remember which one, but, paraphrasing, 'promote the ugly and discordant in art' was one of the communist goals from the 60's.

Let’s be serious Obiden has the mental acuity of a squid.. he’s not the one doing this, it’s the guys that stole the elections, the guys mentioned in the Time mag article a few months ago. Those people were not elected, have allies to pay back, and do all these things with the active support of the press. All Obiden cares about is his cognitive shakes, naps and reading of the teleprompter. Since when is it OK for a US President to ignore questions from the press, even the fawning, imbecilic press we have now? Since now, since he’s senile.

Apparently, higher education in America has been so poisoned by the radical left that condemning a rise in physical attacks on innocent American Jews is now forbidden – unless one simultaneously indicates support for the very cause being advocated by the groups most prominent in the current attacks. (snip) The original message, sent out on May 26, expressed concern over all acts of hate and oppression (snip) But, apparently, that was not enough to satisfy the “community” at the main campus of the eighth-oldest university in America, as an apology followed the next day (snip) the message failed to communicate support for our Palestinian community members.

The woman who sits atop 60 million dollars’ worth of donated funds, after the unexplained departure of her ostensibly charitable organization’s co-founders, failing to file legally required financial disclosures, and buying a multi-million dollar real estate portfolio, surprised everyone yesterday by announcing her resignation. Claiming that it has nothing to do with criticism of her multi-million-dollar real estate buying spree and complaints of financially stiff-arming other BLM groups, Patrisse Cullors: “announced Thursday that she is stepping down as executive director of the movement’s foundation. Healthy children and young adults do not need to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Nevertheless, the current administration vaccinates them without informed consent and even using direct coercion (like giving the choice: vaxx or wear a muzzle). About 200,000 kids 12-15 are injected daily. This rate has been sustained since the start around May 12. Additionally, they continue vaccinating older teenagers. (snip) The recent trial of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on kids 12-15 was a joke. It included only 1,131 children in the vaccinated group.

In his controversial new book on the 2020 election, Battle For The Soul: Inside the Democrats' Campaigns to Defeat Donald Trump. Edward-Isaac Dovere repeats a canard that has become something of a staple of Democratic mythology. (snip) Obama, writes Dovere, "would never forgive [Trump] for turning a fringe obsession with his birth certificate into an issue he'd had to address from the White House briefing room in 2011." Dovere errs on several counts. Trump was not the one who turned the birth certificate into an issue. Obama was.

Something is deeply wrong with the mind of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Toni Williams, writing at Victory Girls, has her number: AOC has proven to be emotionally fragile and uses that fragility as a politically manipulative tactic. Who could ever forget her fake crying in an empty parking lot when she was trying to drag President Donald Trump for putting kids in cages at the border? (snip) Now, she is claiming that the trauma she experienced because someone was banging on her office door has her in therapy. And she has the unbelievable gall to liken what she and other members of Congress experienced that day to having effectively “served in war.”

Amazon recently released a docuseries by none other than Borat Sagdivev. Of course, Borat is a fictional character, one of many played by English actor Sacha Baron Cohen. The agitprop pushed by Cohen -- his comedic specialty -- offers an ivory tower glimpse of how cultural elites view average Americans. The latest “documentary” -- yes, that term is used loosely here -- is another example of narrative-driven infotainment that remains questionable at best. (snip) The insidious premise of each Borat production is that unadulterated pride in America is dangerous and wrongheaded. Of course, it takes an Englishman to tell Americans how “wrong” they are in their patriotism.

For decades, Progressives have been making gains in America, and they've been doing it mainly because they were very careful and crafty in how they operated. A leftist will rarely come out and tell you what he is trying to do; leftists are stealthy and devious about their true intentions, disguising their motives with slogans like "for the common good," "paying your fair share," and "leveling the playing field." They've slunk into nearly every walk of life, disingenuously labeling themselves "liberal" (snip) So why is the left suddenly so brazen in pushing its agenda, after decades of slinking in the shadows and deceiving its voters?

Cheney was ousted by her party from leadership earlier this month for having repeatedly criticized former President Donald Trump for his past statements on the 2020 election.
