A rise in violent crime is endangering slim Democratic congressional majorities more than a year out from the midterm elections and threatening to revive “law and order” as a major campaign issue for Republicans for the first time since the 1990s. Homicides in cities increased by up to 40% over the previous year, the biggest single-year increase since 1960, a trend that has not abated so far in 2021. Sixty-three of the 66 largest police jurisdictions saw a rise in at least one category of violent crime, ranging from homicide and rape to robbery and assault, according to the Major Cities Chiefs Association.

Not so sure that this will help the Republicans, Remember one of the Democrats biggest voting are in the same party as those committing the crimes and killing those of their own race.
They will remain a voting block for democrats.

The surging crime rate isn’t too good for the rest of us either.

Jen Paski was very quick to remind everyone today that the crime rate has been rising since the Covid lockdowns and problems began Last Year. While that may be technically true due to BLM, ANTIFA, and other activists "peacefully protesting" (aka burning, looting, rioting) and others feeling they are now exempt from following laws due to George Floyd. The worst surge in crime has really occurred since President Joe Biden started dismantling Donald Trump's programs and partnering with the very people and groups responsible for the crime surge.

While I'm sure Mr Antle is an okay guy, I do have problems when men "part their names in the middle." And what's with the III? He's not royalty. If his father is alive, he's Jr, if not, he's just plain Whatever Antle. Nothing to do with the article of course, just an observance.

Not a problem with mail out easily copied ballots that can be filled by anybody and you control the counting process end to end.

Good points #3. Add to this mess the Left's drumbeat attacks on Law Enforcement, the murders and assaults the ambush murders, the lawsuits (we all agree that there are some "bad cops"), the defunding of the police, who are in increasing numbers leaving a dangerous, thankless job, especially in the areas where their brave service is most needed.
They get no support from the local elected officials, Dems, of course, who know they don't have to do a thing and the useful dolts will re-elect them ad nauseum ad infinitum. Besides, they have security! Who gives a bleep about anyone else!
But for all of us, the spreading anarchic spirit, the breakdown of the sense of order, the loss of rationality, self-discipline, the belief that human life is precious, bodes ill for all of civilization. This "decline and fall" started a while ago, but history shows that when people lose the will to fight for themselves and for higher principles like liberty, honor, faith, and they slide down into cowardly retreat, not wanting to risk confrontation, then there is slight hope for a resurrection.
And then there's the mendacious media, the BSMedia
I'm afraid we're nearing the edge of the abyss. We may be there right now.

Not to be confused with raising prices, inflation, border crisis, and showing weakness to external enemies.

Democrats and crime are pretty much the same.
A major surge in crime became obvious on the day after the last election, during the time frame of midnight to five am. That election strategy is now a key part of the democrat criminal operation.

My sense is that Democrats are quite enjoying the national Ferguson Effect and their newfound freedom to bring the jungle to the city. I don't see who among Democrats is upset by this.
