While intended to lower out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs and treatments, H.R. 3 could take away mature adults’ ability to make their own healthcare decisions and put it in the hands of the federal government. Government interference not only imposes on the patient-provider relationship, but it also puts mature adults’ health at risk by restricting what treatments should be at their finger tips. Millions of retirees rely on the Medicare program because it provides access to various treatments for chronic conditions, such as cancer, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and other serious illnesses,

The CDC last week updated its mask guidance and said fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks indoors.
In order to prevent the unvaccinated from walking around unmasked, Oregon health officials are now creating a caste system by marking the unvaxxed lepers.

I'm already dealing with this madness!! I have chronic migraines and need medication to keep them under control. My doctors put me on the one medication that seems to be working but some desk jockey somewhere, who doesn't know me from Eve, decided that instead of what was prescribed for me, I should take a medication that A. doesn't work, B. I had adverse reactions to when I tried it, and C. clashes with my heart meds!! I tried to purchase a supplemental insurance policy at my expense but Medicare found out about it, told me in a letter that I couldn't keep it and actually sent my insurance company a letter canceling my coverage without letting me know they were doing so. I found out when my insurance company sent me one of those "We're sorry you're leaving us" letters!! And NO ONE can explain to me why I can't buy my own supplemental policy!!
