Joe Biden will not include student loan forgiveness in his upcoming Budget, after pledging to cancel $10,000 from loans on the campaign trail.
Biden is due to announce his latest budget at the end of next week, and claims he has grown suspicious of wiping out the loans. The shift in policy is a major blow for the more than 42 million Americans who have student loans. Biden had been pressured by progressives in the Democrat Party including Elizabeth Warren and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to forgive up to $50,000 in debt. Chuck Schumer, the Senate Majority Leader, was also in favor.

Maybe someone told him the only fair thing to do if you forgive is to refund everyone who paid.
Run that thru the accounting dept.

Excellent. The proposal was a major moral disaster, rewarding slackards while penalizing the responsible.

The loan would not be forgiven or go away. It would be paid, just not by the people who took out the loan. Nothing is free. All government giveaways are paid for by money taken away from those who earn it.

Biden probably doesn't remember ever talking about student loan forgiveness. He will just claim that he never said he would forgive student debt. The press and media will give him a pass.

Democrats promise everything and deliver nothing to their easily duped base. The democrat party is the most duplicitous political organization ever created. Their whole strategy for winning is based upon lies and cheating. Without those two actions, they would fail miserably. The glue that hold this horrific plan together is the lying media. There is no lie too big that the media will not herald with enthusiasm. O’Biden’s cabal is a cancer on this country and must be excised from the body politic or the prognosis is dire. We must challenge every falsehood, obfuscation and omission. Every promise broken must be pointed out. Complacency is the death of truth.

The article is from the Daily Mail (UK). The US Ministry of Truth, also called the Fake News, will not report this. That promise already went down the memory hole.

Snowflakes will be melting all over America. What a great “teachable moment” for them - never, ever, ever, ever, ever trust a demonrat. Or vote for one. I hope that the buyer’s remorse swallows them whole.

Okay folks... here's the rub... the lefties are losing voters... and they can't replace them with illegal aliens because voter ID is on it's way...sooooo... they can't alienate taxpayers with lofty ideas that cost the working class money...so he'll stab...is that politically correct wording?...the student loan crowd in the back and court the taxpaying public... the shift was predictable..now he needs Americans to support his energy plan and students are not part of that crowd...

The scary fact that a large group of obviously college educated people believed this rhetoric just shows how dumb they truly are in terms of street smarts. These are the same idiots who lose their rent money looking for the pea under the walnut shell at the carnival or try to find the red queen in a Three-card Monte game.
It was a fake campaign promise! Hello? Like "a chicken in every pot". These morons were actually waiting for the Government to deliver a hen to their door. Lol!!
Plus --- about 85% of the people with these types of loans actually have well-paying jobs and can easily afford the monthly repayment amount. They just want a government freebie.

How much money are these morons going to print? It is creating a total disaster pending straight in front. Do these idiots not think that $30T in debt is never going to be paid, and has to be rolled over, but who is going to buy it with a zero interest rate coupon? Nobody. The JA in the WH thinks he can also pick up the indebtedness of defined benefit pensions, state underfundings, rearm the Palestinians, and help Israel. We are already paying the wages of those that formerly worked, and the rent of those that formerly paid them from their earnings. If there is any natural disaster in the world, Biden will rush in with more money. The left rules the world, and is responsible for everything. I want to get back to just being responsible for myself. I don't like taking on everybody else's problems.

Recall xiden. He promised to reduce student loans, and former students working three and four jobs to pay off the loans they were conned into are suffering. They need this help, and xiden has failed them. The cheater-in-thief broke his pledge. Student loan payers unite!

Ha! Now the Bidet voters can feel cheated too. Especially those who, figuring the taxpayer would flip the bill, took out extra student loans to pay down credit cards and such.
