New York’s Excelsior Pass: How it works
and when you may need to use it

With much of New York allowed to fully reopen for business Wednesday—and relaxed CDC rules for vaccinated people at indoor venues going into effect—residents may soon find themselves having to provide proof of inoculation or a negative COVID-19 test to gain entry to events or businesses. While many other states have balked at the idea of so-called “vaccine passports,” the Empire State has already rolled out a platform called the Excelsior Pass that’s being used at big events here, like Yankees and Knicks games.(Snip) Businesses and venues requiring proof of vaccination or negative test results can scan and validate the QR code

Comments:

Participation is completely voluntary in that you can choose to stay on the sidewalk instead of being granted admittance, no different from Jim Crow-era black people or untouchables in India.

According to authorities. the nationwide compliance to getting vaccines is about 50%. NYS has decided that getting vaccinated is no longer "Voluntary" given the fact that your constitutional Right to Assemble, is being taken from the unvaccinated.

But he struck a careful balance between both sides as he announced plans to help Palestinians in Gaza rebuild their lives so long as Hamas militants, who rained rockets on Israel, were not able to rebuild their armaments. A critical race studies and ethnic studies professor at the University of Colorado-Boulder says Americans wondering why Black citizens commit anti-Asian hate crimes have an answer: “White supremacy.” The educational watchdog Campus Reform spotlighted the commentary of Jennifer Ho, which preceded President Biden’s newly signed legislation aimed at combatting hate crimes against Asian Americans. “Anti-Asian racism has the same source as anti-Black racism: White supremacy,” Ms. Ho wrote for The Conversation. “So when a Black person attacks an Asian person, the encounter is fueled perhaps by racism, but very specifically by White supremacy. White supremacy does not require a White person to perpetuate it.”

Transgender advocates are calling Tennessee “the state of hate” in response to a series of new laws aimed at protecting biological women. LGBTQ activists see the laws as discriminatory to transgenders and say the Republican-run state is increasingly hostile to transgender rights. They’re also threatening legal action. “Tennessee has gone well above board to go after trans folks,” said Sasha Buchert, an attorney for Lambda Legal, a pro-LGBTQ legal group. “This isn’t about policy, it’s about prejudice.” Since March, there have been at least four new laws implemented in the Volunteer State that involve the rights of transgender individuals and biological women.

Democrats have been flogging the image of Kamala Harris for more than six months, trying to show Americans why she should be popular, and the public isn’t buying it.The efforts and the expectations of success by Democrats say a lot about the party and their myopic view of the voters, which has cost them dearly during the last three national elections. A party that tells most voters they’re “racist” and says those same ordinary people must be cleansed of their “systemic racism” and delusions of “white supremacy” shouldn’t have to wonder why people don’t like them very much. But the Democrats keep doubling down — as they did with Harris.

Oregon has gone from a liberal hell hole to 1930s Germany overnight. The Oregon Health Authority is now requiring businesses and religious institutions to enforce mask mandates by forcing people to show proof of vaccination. The CDC last week updated its mask guidance and said fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks indoors. In order to prevent the unvaccinated from walking around unmasked, Oregon health officials are now creating a caste system by marking the unvaxxed lepers. “Businesses, employers and faith institutions now have the option to adjust their masking guidance to allow fully vaccinated individuals to no longer wear a mask in their establishments,” OHA’s website said.

It seems like a crazy urban legend: In China, drivers who have injured pedestrians will sometimes then try to kill them. And yet not only is it true, but it’s also fairly common; security cameras have regularly captured drivers driving back and forth on top of victims to make sure that they are dead. The Chinese language even has an adage for the phenomenon: “It is better to hit to kill than to hit and injure.” In contrast in our country, BLM regularly blocks roads and in most situations, the drivers are the ones that took the hit.

It would lower what her office calls the “exceedingly high standard for prosecuting police officers” who wrongly take excessive or lethal actions. Dishonesty and hypocrisy surrounding Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s (D) secret “personal” trip to Florida are threatening the one-time rising star’s political future. Like other Democrat governors, Whitmer opted to impose harsh restrictions in an attempt to deal with the coronavirus in 2020. After a spike in cases towards the end of the year, she reimposed many orders through her Department of Health and Human Services after her executive orders were ruled unconstitutional in October. In early April 2021, as coronavirus variants were growing around the country, Whitmer warned Michiganders not to go to Florida for spring break.
