A 6-year-old girl driving home with her mom after a long day of shopping and swimming in a lake. Another girl, 9, playing on a backyard trampoline with friends. A third-grade boy munching on potato chips in the back seat of his parents' car. The shootings of three young Minneapolis children in a span of two weeks has jolted the conscience of a city already reeling from rising violent crime, the pandemic and the lingering effects of George Floyd's killing in police custody last spring.(Snip) Late Monday, they were driving through the intersection of N. 36th and Penn avenues when they drove into

Comments:

Caught in the crossfire of a gang shootout. Somehow the blame there, and for whatever mindless motives caused the other shootings along with the vast bulk of all other crimes, lies at the feet of White Supremacists, who cause every societal problem, according to our national Marxist ethos.

This would all end if we just enacted more common sense gun laws and defund the police. And more social workers to answer domestic violence calls. And community citizens on patrol to calm the gangs during their random killing sprees. And...

Bottom line, Minneapolis does not have enough zookeepers to control the animals and that's exactly what the friends and neighbors of the animals demanded. It's hard to imagine children being shot but judging from the names this is all black on black and not the boogeyman known as White Supremacy. George Floyd's suicide, not George Floyd's killing. I would wager that if Chauvin could go back to March 2020 he would have let Floyd drive off and given the shopkeeper his twenty bucks in real money. Blacks in Minneapolis have a choice to make, experience the death of an occasional black thug being shot by the police as he resists arrest or have another bunch of their children killed by other black thugs. What's more important to you, losing an occasional thug or the lives of your children? Or do you even understand that your demands are the problem?

The ones shooting your children are the children you raised. The fault is your's not the cops or the city government. Maybe encourage your young daughters to NOT have sex with whatever thug happens to catch her eye. Teach your young sons to have respect for girls. Teach both sexes to wait until marriage to have children. Yeah, a novel concept but it worked for hundreds of thousands of years until 60 yeas ago the GD progressives polluted the minds of young people that sex with whomever, whenever or whatever is a good thing.

Tragically for her family, that beautiful little angel, Aniya Allen, passed away this afternoon. Her mother made a good point: (fta) Earlier Tuesday, Aniya Allen's mother spoke briefly with reporters outside HCMC. Pointing around the sidewalk where friends and family were gathered, Antrice Sease asked why so few people were there. If her daughter had been shot by a police officer instead of a gang member, as some have speculated, the story would've been all over the news and the street outside the hospital would have been filled with outraged protesters demanding that something be done, she said. "When is this going to stop? When is this going to end?" she repeated. EXCELLENT question . . .

Associated Press video from the scene showed people running and seeking cover as shots rang out. A police spokesman didn't immediately respond to a message seeking comment. Journalist Philip Crowther, who was shooting live video from 38th and Chicago, reported hearing as many as 30 gunshots about a block east of the intersection. Vague threats from social media users dressed as menacing clowns in 2016 led to intense police monitoring of their accounts and an effort to “identify those who may be responsible”, according to records from Washington DC’s Metropolitan police department (MPD).
