Colonial Pipeline CEO Tells Why He
Paid Hackers a $4.4 Million Ransom

Original Article

The operator of the Colonial Pipeline learned it was in trouble at daybreak on May 7, when an employee found a ransom note from hackers on a control-room computer. By that night, the company’s chief executive came to a difficult conclusion: He had to pay. Joseph Blount, CEO of Colonial Pipeline Co., told The Wall Street Journal that he authorized the ransom payment of $4.4 million because executives were unsure how badly the cyberattack had breached its systems or how long it would take to bring the pipeline back. Mr. Blount acknowledged publicly for the first time that the company had paid the ransom

Comments:

Well, at least now the hackers know the easiest way to get money from us. 😖

Don’t be surprised if we find out in the future that the Biden crew told him that they would reimburse the company for the ransom to get rid of that looming political problem of both a gas shortage and $7.00 a gallon gas.

But he saved money by not having a dedicated line along his pipeline route to connect up his computers, valves, pumps, etc. It's SO MUCH EASIER on the internet.

On May 17, the United States Supreme Court reconsidered a prior precedent that for nearly six decades shamefully denied the equal protection of the law to an entire segment of the human family. The year was 1954, the case was Brown v. Board of Education and the precedent overruled was Plessy v. Ferguson (1896), which for 58 years had allowed states to engage in “separate but equal” discrimination on the basis of race. On May 17, 2021, the Court agreed to hear a dispute regarding a younger line of precedents—namely, Roe v. Wade (1973) and Planned Parenthood v. Casey (1992)

Four Senate Republicans introduced legislation Friday to bolster Israel’s missile defense system known as the "Iron Dome" – a move that counters a Democratic effort to block arms sales to Israel. The deadly 11-day conflict between Israel and Hamas has left at least 230 Palestinians dead, over 60 of which were children. Israel likewise suffered 12 deaths, one of which was a 5-year old boy. President Joe Biden said the U.S. would send aid to Gaza "in a manner that does not permit Hamas to simply restock its military arsenal." But Republicans on the Hill have said not so fast.

Turkish mafia boss Sedat Peker is leveling serious accusations against leading government lawmakers. He has published five videos on YouTube in which he claims that high-profile politicians from Turkey's ruling AKP party are involved in serious crimes. The clips, which have gone viral and are making headlines, claim leading lawmakers were involved in malfeasance, murders, rapes, drug trafficking and other illicit practices. Is anyone truly surprised by the racist interview policy from Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot? As she reaches the midway point in her term, she decided that she would not be interviewed by white reporters. She will sit down and talk to white reporters in the future. But the damage is done. Lightfoot stands at the intersection of the Chicago Way and the Woke Freeway that bisects the nation. And to paraphrase the late Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis, if it is true that local governments are the laboratories of democracy, then what's coming out of the Chicago laboratory, to be carried on the Woke Freeway to Washington, will be profoundly toxic

Former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard accused Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Friday of harboring anti-White racism and called for her to step down over her remarks this week about the city's media landscape. In a tweet, Gabbard, a one-time Democratic presidential candidate from Hawaii, also called on President Joe Biden and other leaders to join her. "Mayor Lightfoot's blatant anti-white racism is abhorrent," she wrote. "I call upon President Biden, Kamala Harris, and other leaders of our county—of all races—to join me in calling for Mayor Lightfoot's resignation. Our leaders must condemn all racism, including anti-white."

Air Force spokesperson Ann Stefanek told Fox News on Thursday that the investigation into the removal of Lt. Colonel Matthew Lohmeier from duty was moving up to the IG’s office for review, as the case could have an Air Force-wide impact. Stefanek also said that the IG's investigation would take precedence over the one launched by Lohmeier’s superior, Air Force Lt. General Stephen Whiting.

Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot isn't just a disastrous mayor. She's also a virulent racist. So why isn't she being universally and unequivocally called one. Lightfoot made an announcement about the one-on-one interviews she'll conduct on the second anniversary of her inauguration. In the name of equity, diversity, and inclusion, Lightfoot pulled a bigoted publicity stunt: she will only allow minority reporters to interview her. Instead of being judged on the quality of your coverage, it's your skin color that matters. Instead of calling out the racism, some in Chicago media used it to fake deep conversations on race—the kinds they learned about in White Fragility.

President Biden has repeatedly promised that he won't raise taxes on American families earning less than $400,000 per year. Yet widespread and growing inflation due to his policies is -- at least indirectly -- breaking that promise. Call it the Biden inflation tax. Consumer prices have increased at an accelerated rate every month this year. In April, core inflation rose at its fastest month-over-month pace since 1981. The producer price index grew by the largest amount on record last month. Commodity prices are skyrocketing, with corn rising by more than 50% this year, lumber elevating to four times its traditional rate, and copper hitting a record high.

The World Health Organization, the Democrats, the Deep State, and the tech tyrants managed to suppress that information in 2020, but it's roared back this year. Tucker Carlson put the pieces together in his opening monologue and, with help from Chinese scientist Li-Meng Yan, makes it plain that, even if China didn't deliberately release the virus, it turned it into a weapon of biological warfare by withholding information about it.
