A parents-rights group has filed a federal complaint accusing a Massachusetts school district of engaging in racial discrimination by banning White students from an event on hate crimes against Asian Americans.

A man punched a 75-year-old woman in the face in an unprovoked attack as she got off a Queens bus, cops said early Thursday. The elderly victim had just stepped off a Q36 bus at Hillside Avenue and Edgerton Boulevard in Jamaica Estates around 1:30 p.m. Saturday when a stranger approached and punched her in the forehead without saying a word, cops said.(Snip) The suspect, who fled, is about 5-foot-6 with a medium build. Displays and a structure at George Floyd Square in south Minneapolis were vandalized late at night over the weekend by a man with an ax in an act captured on video. The damage occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday at 38th and Chicago, the intersection that has been an informal gathering place and remembrance since Floyd was killed by police on May 25, 2020.(Snip) The surveillance video showed a man arriving in a pickup truck and striding toward the square, where he tore down signs and threw items out of a shed.

In a shocking video, a mom was dragged out of a Little Caesars by her hair and stamped on in front of her child while screaming "my baby." The brutal attack occurred at the popular pizza chain on Monday in Augusta, Georgia. According to Augusta Crime, the suspect Brittany Kennedy attacked victim Emily Broadwater. The video shows Kennedy pulling Broadwater by her hair out of the establishment while she screams and attempts to fight back. Two men have been charged with assaulting and injuring police officers during separate incidents in downtown Minneapolis over the weekend, authorities said Tuesday. Robert E. Ford, 21, of Minneapolis, was charged with second- and fourth-degree assault for hitting an officer with a stick. Christopher Smith, 39, was charged with fourth-degree assault on suspicion that he sprayed four or five officers with mace near the same intersection of the other downtown incident.(Snip) The confrontations occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday after fights broke out and a stabbing was reported in the area, police said. Officers found two people with substantial head wounds.

A Chinese skyscraper had to be evacuated Tuesday afternoon after it began inexplicably swaying on its foundation, prompting scores of bystanders to flee in terror, as seen in a series of viral videos circulating social media.
