Andrew Giuliani has dreams of turning next year’s gubernatorial race into another “Fight of the Century.”The son of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will announce Tuesday that he’s officially running for the Republican primary in 2022 — and is confident he can not only knock out veteran GOP competition but then go on to take out scandal-ridden Gov. Andrew Cuomo.“I’m a politician out of the womb. It’s in my DNA,” Giuliani, 35, told The Post, referring to his childhood as the son of a larger than life Big Apple mayor.

Who could forget little Andrew's performance during Rudy's inaugural adrdress as governor? Priceless.

Unfortunately #1, and unless I'm forgetting something else, that is the only thing young Mr. Giuliani is known for. Not ready for prime time.

I heard his announcement this morning on 77ABC app on the Bernie and Sid show. This guy is sharp. It doesn't matter if he doesn't has experience wasting taxpayer's money. NY needs someone who will fight against the "free all the criminals" type and I think he would do just that. NY is a mess and they need someone to clean it up and fast or its going to be decades before its safe once again.

I have no idea if he is politically like his father. Frankly....I am a bit tired of 'dynasties'. But, in NY, I'm sure that the choices are likely "left and lefter", and "dumb and dumber". Anyone who is out of that group may do better. I'll watch, since I have carefully chose to remain far away from NY, at all times.

A few months back, several counties in far-left Oregon began an effort to secede from the state and become part of Idaho. Now they have voted for it. It’s not a done deal yet, but they are off to a strong start. These are simply people who are tired of being associated with the radical left-wing politics of Portland. The Hill reports:Oregon counties vote to secede to IdahoVoters in five rural Oregon counties approved measures on Tuesday to consider joining the state of Idaho, a part of a long-shot grassroots movement to break with a state dominated by liberal voters west of the Cascade Mountains.

I loved President Trump because he stood up for the ordinary people of America, those who for so long had been kept in cultural servitude by the political elite. Trump endowed ordinary Americans with a sense of possibilities by returning manufacturing jobs to America, restoring our sovereignty as a nation free of global institutions, and, above all, ending the atmosphere of political correctness that had choked free expression for decades. Then, when the elite saw everyday Americans rising above their station, it decided to put them back in their servitude by depriving Trump of a second term, by whatever means necessary. Now the high-paying jobs are disappearing,

On Monday, the delayed due date for filing federal taxes for the last calendar year, the White House made a theatrical show of releasing President Biden’s 2020 tax returns. In so doing, the new administration wanted to show a contrast with Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump, who did not release his tax returns. But while the White House emphasized the release of Biden’s returns, it does not want reporters to scrutinize the content of those returns, because doing so would highlight a pattern of hypocritical behavior by the current president and his family. During and after the 2020 election, commentators frequently touted Joe Biden’s character as a major point in his favor. If Trump was unpredictable, aggressive, and uncouth, Biden stood in stark contrast: reliable, collegial, and, above all, empathetic. As Peter Wehner put it in The Atlantic, “In the entire history of American presidential campaigns, there may never have been a wider gap in empathy than between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. And it has rarely mattered more.” This was no outlier. Forbes ran a story headlined, “How Empathy Defines Biden.” CNN quoted his many endorsers, all of whom invoked his empathy. Slate summed it up: “Joe Biden is the empathy candidate.”

Thomas Lifson caught the fact that Biden made a joke that would have sent journalists screaming to their psychiatrists had President Trump made it: When they asked about Israel, he said he’d run them over. What someone noticed later is that, in addition to threatening violence to journalists who made him uncomfortable, Biden may have been faking that he was driving. Sharp-eyed observers noted that his steering wheel didn’t control the tires and believe that someone else was driving the car. (snip) In fact, if you watch slo-mo footage of the event, it appears very much as if Biden has a dummy steering wheel.
