Prince Harry seemed determined to outdo Meghan Markle on the obnoxious celebrity front.
The oafish royal on the lam from his U.K. duties, who's now set up shop here to live the billionaire lifestyle, is now, like a lot of them, telling us how to run our country. He's calling our First Amendment 'bonkers.'
Kid you not.
According to the London Spectator (hat tip: Daily Caller), citing a podcast interview that Prince Harry made with the Davos-like Aspen Institute:
I’ve got so much I want to say about the First Amendment as I sort of understand it, but it is bonkers. I don’t want to start going down the

Former President Donald J. Trump may have been run out of the swamp, but the witch hunt goes on with his enemies fully mobilized to prevent his return. While Trump continues to mull a 2024 White House run, efforts are underway to use every dirty trick in the book to take him out with extreme prejudice. Now, a familiar cast of characters have emerged as conspirators. One of them is Andrew Weissman, the vicious former prosecutor who was fondly referred to as “Mueller’s pit bull” (Snip)The ex-prosecutor joined Nicole Wallace to discuss the likelihood that Trump would be indicted in a purely political move

Florida might as well be known as the sixth borough.New data from the Sunshine State’s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles offers the latest glimpse of just how many New Yorkers fled south during the COVID-19 pandemic. At least 33,565 New Yorkers exchanged their NY drivers licenses for Florida credentials between September 2020 and March 2021.That’s a 32% increase from the same period the prior year, when 25,370 New York driver’s licenses were traded for Florida ones.Florida officials said a major cause of migration was parents looking to get their kids back in full-time, in-person school.

By the time Melinda French Gates decided to end her 27-year marriage, her husband was known globally as a software pioneer, a billionaire and a leading philanthropist. But in some circles, Bill Gates had also developed a reputation for questionable conduct in work-related settings. That is attracting new scrutiny amid the breakup of one of the world’s richest, most powerful couples. CORRECTION*

Is planting misleading innuendo about oneself a good tool to sell the services of an information provider? In what other product category does one openly debase the quality as a means of gathering attention? Tucker Carlson, whose viewership is more than 4 times that of Don Lemon’s, likes to characterize the CNN host as stupid. That label certainly applies to the publicity stunt trick Lemon pulled on Friday night:
“CNN Tonight” anchor Don Lemon announced Friday that “this will be the last night” of the show he’s hosted since 2014 (snip) "I’ll be back on Monday with my newly named show Don Lemon Tonight. See you Monday at 10pE."

Remember during the pandemic when we occasionally wondered where the supplies that the federal and state government was supposed to have stockpiled for emergencies like this were, and it turned out Obama and Democrat governors had emptied them out?
Even lackluster RINOs like Schwarzenegger had responsibly built up stockpiles of supplies for an emergency that Democrats trashed.
Once this became an issue, the media rushed into action, spinning frantically and tossing out denials. [SNIP] The Department of Health and Human Services has diverted more than $2 billion meant for other health initiatives toward covering the cost of caring for unaccompanied immigrant children.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said in a Friday interview that the only reason the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention eased its masking rules for vaccinated Americans was to distract people from the skyrocketing gas prices. The rising gas prices were in response to high fuel demand following the cyberattack on the Colonial Pipeline Company.Colonial Pipeline Company operates the largest fuel pipeline in the United States — providing roughly half of all diesel and gasoline on the East Coast — and became aware of a cyberattack from hackers linked to a group called DarkSide last Friday,

Plant-based and additional meatless products are accused of misleading buyers under a bill the Texas House approved Monday.
“Texas is the latest state to debate measures that would prohibit foods that don’t contain animal products from using words like ‘meat’ or ‘beef’ in their name,” the Dallas Morning News reported.
The bill was approved following a debate but needs one additional vote in the House to move on to the Texas Senate.
According to Rep. Brad Buckley, his bill would help protect consumers, including vegetarians and vegans, from purchasing a product by mistake.

As we previously reported, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) took out a building that they said contained Hamas military intelligence operation.
It also contained offices for the Associated Press and Al Jazeera, among other media outlets.
Prior to hitting the building, the IDF warned the media outlets and others in the building to get out before they took down the building.
Some in media were upset that Israel took out the building. But as we noted, how could media not know that Hamas had an operation going on in the building, if they were sharing the building with them?

St. Athanasius - - or St. A's as we called it - - was my home parish. I went to - - and graduated from - - St. Athanasius grammar school - - run by the beloved Sisters of St. Joseph. Back then - - the Bensonhurst neighborhood consisted almost exclusively of working class Italian-Americans and Jewish-Americans. The St. A's baseball team once won a highly prestigious NY Metro tournament - - and half the players on that team were Jewish! The neighborhood was beyond completely safe. No one bothered to lock their front doors. The merchants also left their store doors open - - even when the merchant had to step out to take care of a business matter. There wasn't the slightest worry that anything would be stolen. And now - - this.
