Häagen-Daz ice cream, Special K cereal, and a plethora of fruit and vegetables were always on hand when President Joe Biden lived in the vice president's residence, according to The New York Times. But the one food item you wouldn't see at an official event? Leafy greens. In a new report detailing the Democratic president's first few months settling into the White House, The Times reported Biden put the kibosh on leafy greens at public events for a precautionary and relatable reason: He didn't want to be photographed with leaves in his teeth. The White House Press Office did not

Actually, Joe - - you don't have any teeth. All of those white chiclets in your mouth are made of plastic. You don't have any hair either. Those strands coming out of your scalp - - are also made of plastic. And you don't have natural facial skin either. Your face is regularly pumped up with plastic. You're a fake, phony, fraudulent creature. And - - a fake, phony, fraudulent "president."

#9, really? That worried about what other folks think about what you eat? Glad that I never was that self conscious. Hundreds of dinner meetings in many countries, often as the guest of honor at some research institute. Tried to be on good behavior, but often trying out unknown dishes in Armenia, Ukraine, Russia (east, west and Siberia) and Georgia.....the other Georgia. For the first few years frequently had no idea what was coming until it got there, and I had to often ask for help in how to eat it. Being a good sport and adventurous eater helped a lot. Found a lot of great foods that I had never heard of before.

OT, but oh to live a life where you never have to grocery shop. Just give someone a list and food appears magically and someone else pays. You never have to drive or worry about heavy traffic or finding a parking place because a big black SUV is always at the ready to take you where you want to go and return you to home. You never have to worry about a stick up on the street because you have umpteen secret service employees watching your butt. Oh, the life for such a chosen few. * has lived this life for almost 50 years. We're the losers.

The former Royal Marine seeking to secure the passage of 200 dogs and cats alongside his animal shelter staff out of Afghanistan says the Taliban is blocking their evacuation. Paul Farthing, known as Pen, founded the Nowzad shelter in Kabul after serving with the British Army in Afghanistan in the mid-2000s, with the organisation rescuing dogs, cats and donkeys. Since the collapse of the Afghan government, he has campaigned to have his staff and their families as well as 140 dogs and 60 cats evacuated from the country in a privately chartered Airbus A330. New Zealand has extended its national lockdown by at least four days as it tries to contain the highly infectious Delta variant. The country first went into lockdown on August 17 after it detected a single COVID-19 case in Auckland, which health officials assumed was Delta. New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said Thursday that the infected individual had returned from Sydney, Australia - a COVID-19 hotspot - and arrived in Auckland, the country's largest city, on August 7. By the time it was announced on Monday that the lockdown was being extended, the outbreak was responsible for 107 cases, according to

NEW YORK/LONDON - The Taliban stopped an Afghan United Nations staff member as he tried to reach Kabul airport on Sunday. They searched his vehicle and found his U.N. identification. Then they beat him. On Monday, three unknown men visited the home of another U.N. staff member who was at work at the time. When Afghanistan’s now-deposed President Ashraf Ghani visited President Joe Biden in the White House in late June, he expressed some concerns about how the U.S. planned to evacuate people ahead of the troop withdrawal from his country. Ghani said he worried that a planned massive airlift of U.S. citizens and Afghan nationals who had helped the U.S. would send a disheartening signal and undermine confidence in his government’s ability to fight the Taliban, according to a senior administration official familiar with the discussions. Biden and his advisors listened, the official says, and in mid-July they decided to move ahead with

WASHINGTON - President Joe Biden on Tuesday stuck by his plan to remove the nearly 6,000 U.S. troops from Afghanistan by the end of August, contingent on whether the Taliban cooperates to allow the evacuation of more Americans and their Afghan allies. Biden announced a plan in April to withdraw 2,500 U.S. troops who were still in Afghanistan after a 20-year war, but was forced to send thousands more back to evacuate those at risk as the U.S.-backed government and military quickly collapsed. The chaotic and perilous evacuation from Kabul airport that ensued has unleashed a wave of criticism and presented

Joe Biden was bluffing with a weak hand again. Faced with the prospect that America’s promised retreat from Afghanistan wouldn’t be complete by month’s end, the commander in chief began backtracking on his exit date last week. “If there’s American citizens left, we’re going to stay to get them all out,” he told ABC News. One of the most effective ways for the MSM to shut down an inquiry into misconduct is to say it is all a conspiracy theory. Besides avoiding an unwanted discussion, the charge also invites scrutiny of the "theorist" instead of the issue itself. Notice how quickly some even start off saying something like "I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but..." Expecting their reaction, we have become almost trained to do this. But are there really no big conspiracies? It has been claimed that the phrase "conspiracy theory" was invented by the government to discourage the questioning of official explanations for important events, especially the JFK assassination.
