The Arizona attorney general urged President Joe Biden to remove Vice President Kamala Harris as the border czar in a letter Wednesday.Attorney General Mark Brnovich requested in his letter that Harris be replaced as the overseer of the border due to the ongoing migrant crisis. Brnovich criticized Harris for not making a visit to the border and called her response to the crisis a “slap in the face” to the citizens of Arizona.“Vice President Harris has shown little interest in observing what is happening along the border and has failed to articulate any plan to deal with the devastating effects of this crisis.

Colonial Pipeline Co. paid the group that hacked its pipeline a nearly $5 million ransom in untraceable cryptocurrency within hours of the cyberattack, two people familiar with the payment told Bloomberg on Thursday.
The report contradicts Colonial’s public assertion that it did not pay the hacking group Darkside ransom following the cyberattack. A third person familiar with the ransom said the U.S. government is aware Colonial paid Darkside.
