Biden's claim of support from five
former Fed chairs for tax plan erroneous

President Biden was either confused or misleading the public when he claimed that the last five former chairs of the Federal Reserve support his tax-hike plan as a way to boost the economy. The president caused a lot of head-scratching when he told reporters last week, “By the way, you saw—you know, the last five leaders of the Fed coming out and saying—what’d they say? They said, ‘Biden’s plan is going to grow the economy.'" What did they say, indeed? For starters, two of the previous five Fed chairmen—Paul Volcker and G. William Miller—are deceased. Of the others, only Janet Yellen

Comments:

A good rule of thumb is to do the opposite of what the Federal Reserve advises. Better still would be to audit the thing and shut it down, seeing how it serves only to transfer our wealth to the government and the banks through inflation.

And FTA: "An anonymous White House official told CNN that Mr. Biden misspoke. What the president meant to say, the anonymous official said, was that five former IRS commissioners endorsed his tax plan as a way to boost the economy. Which is also not true." Remarkable. Imagine the heat President Trump took over statements intentionally misinterpreted by the media. But Good Old Joey Boy? Haha, he merely misspoke!

FTA "...Mr. Biden’s plans to raise taxes on individuals earning more than $400,000 and to boost corporate tax rates..." I know I am preaching to the choir but Biden never says "income taxes" and I think that is intentional. As prices rise sales taxes increase, corporations only collect taxes from the buyer. Out of pocket expense increases due to Inflation is a pseudo tax. Butaplug is talking about raising gas taxes. I retired comfortably and expected to leave a large estate to my kids. If I don't go soon they'll be SOL. I cannot believe how many suckers (including too many yellow dog dims in my family) buy all of this scat.

All seven received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which requires only a single shot, as opposed to the two-injection vaccines from pharmaceutical companies like Moderna and Pfizer. The legislation, first introduced by Councilmember Rafael Espinal in 2018, bans the provision of single-use plastic stirrers and “splash sticks” of any kind, in addition to the limitation of straws. Beginning Nov. 1, places like restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery stores, delis and food trucks can no longer provide single-use plastic straws unless they actively request one. In that case, establishments will be required to provide a plastic straw free of charge, no questions asked.
