How Trump's Twitter Ban Could

Here’s a contrary thought: The banishment of Donald Trump from the omnipotent octopus of Big Tech’s social media is actually good for his return to presidential politics, if indeed he’s serious about pulling off a Grover Cleveland-style return in 2024. The absence of a steady stream of his angry, indulgent tweets from the online consciousness of most Americans allows that tedious torrent of tumult to drift into the foggy memories of an inattentive nation that grew tired of it, despite Trump’s numerous policy successes. Twitter was revolutionary in that Trump was able to get his message out, without it being filtered by the networks. Trumps messages were contemporaneous, and refreshingly honest. I hope Trump finds a replacement for Twitter.

A young lady friend is now an attorney. I watched her grow up, and as she was in grammar and high school, her parents kept her from most social media sites (as well as they could !!) I hope she is now thankful for that ''restriction'' during her teen years. She is now a settled, responsible adult of gracious demeanor. I joined Twitter once on a dare. I haven't been trolled nor bothered much because of it. Am still ashamed I bit on that particular tainted fruit. It all seems so very juvenile!

Bushie Andrew never understood why PDJT needed to tweet. It just never crossed Andrew’s mind that the Democrat-owned media would never ever treat PDJT fairly. Would never accurately report anything he said or did. The President found out early on that he had to get his story out in his own words. Immediately and often. Andrew has always talked of President Trump as though he was NOCD (“Not Our Class, Dear”)… Not sure where he got the idea that the Bush clan were the epitome of class.

I've never thought of Twitter or Facebook as being a tool for serious adults and I'm not of a privileged class but rather of a Native American military class, which is shorthand for patriotic and poor. Military service helped me and my father before me to receive a good education with which to assist in acquiring several decades of professional employment. Trump was born into the upper class and from the '70s onward, I never thought he had any trouble getting his message out. That the leftist media hates him, there is no doubt but they love to criticize him for his own words without need to filter what he says. I believe Trump is a statesman but do not believe that his use of Twitter enhanced his statesmanship. While it's not a "class" thing, I believe that him being off Twitter may broaden his appeal, whether he runs for political office or decides to be a kingmaker on the sidelines. I get it that the majority here disagrees but I'm only offing a humble, personal opinion, not trolling or trying to be a contrarian.

Trump should just establish a network by getting out the announcement “ whoever would like to hear from me text your phone # to ... “ he would probably get 100 million responses, establish his network, prove the lie that Biden received more votes than he did.

Regret is not something Americans generally are comfortable admitting. It implies you were – gasp! – mistaken, wish you’d done something differently. Better then, to just ignore the situation and move on as if nothing happened. That’s where a growing number of Americans seem to be now, over last November’s election and their vote for Joe Biden. Or, more accurately, their vote against Donald Trump. In autumn polling, more than two-thirds of Democrats declared they

Seems appropriate that Memorial Day brings back memories. That’s all that’s left of far too many who made those memories with us but are no longer here to share them and make new ones on these annual days of honor for The Fallen. It’s hard sometimes and quite painful for the living to call up memories of the departed, especially if their departure from this life came when they were all alone, far away from us in a lonely, lethal place. And so, too often on these Memorial Days, we

All the recent political buzz about the 2022 midterms has been positive for Republicans taking back control of at least one chamber of Congress and stalling Joe Biden’s increasingly progressive agenda. There’s good reason for that. The GOP need only gain five seats to retire Nancy Pelosi again and make Kevin McCarthy, another Californian, the new House Speaker. [Snip] Of course, the Obamas still got rich, but Democrats have yet to recover from that devastation at the state level. And here comes another congressional redistricting.
