President Joe Biden will hold a meeting next week with six GOP senators as he looks to build bipartisan support for his sweeping American Jobs Plan, the $2.25 trillion “infrastructure” package that Republicans have thus far panned as too pricey and packed with spending unrelated to fixing the nation’s roads and bridges.A White House official told reporters Friday that Biden will meet Thursday with Sens. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), and Roger Wicker (R-Miss.).“The president appreciates their engagement and the ongoing dialogue on this high priority, and is looking forward to speaking with the group,”
Is this going to be one of those hands-across-the-aisle shows in which Republicans concede to everything Dems want? I hope not, but I have my doubts, given history.

NO! Resist! Do not do anything to help these traitors! What is the matter with Republicans?

And thus shall commence the season of Republicans performing acts of political gratification onto Biden in exchange to absolutely nothing. Actually less than nothing. A Republican compromise is defined as the other side getting twice as much as originally asked.

Barely anything in that bill is actually "infrastructure"....the bill is a lie. Traitor Joe is a fraud, given the WH in a fraudulent election.

Republican should go in to this meeting and say we will pay for roads, bridges, tunnels and highways, anything else is bull and we won't support it.

Toomey is leaving the Senate. He is just one of a continuing string of men who have served Pennsylvania badly in the U.S. Senate.

RINO'S in the making

Any Republican willing to "reach across the aisle to their good friends on the other side" to whoever is pulling SloJo's strings is suspicious in my book.
That said, Capito and Crapo might be OK, but Barasso, Blunt, and Toomey (retiring) definitely aren't. Don't know about Wicker. At best a tie between good guys and bad guys.
When in doubt, don't.

How many times have we "spent" billions and billions on roads and bridges and infrastructure over the years and still, they're not there! These people are liars.

#3, Toomey knows if he betrays the people of PA, he and his family better find another place to live. We will run them out of town. No kidding. That new job waiting for he will not be there because of the bad blood that he created. I hope he is not that stupid.

What special "favors" are the rinos requesting. The country already did this with Obama's shovel ready projects and what did it accomplish other than graft.
