Peer reviewed study finds that
ivermectin is effective as prophylaxis
for Covid-19 and as a
therapeutic remedy

I expect the corporate media will ignore as much as possible the findings of a peer-reviewed study just published in the American Journal of Therapeutics that concludes the readily-available, inexpensive (off-patent) drug ivermectin is effective in treating existing cases of Covid-19 and in preventing coming down with the illness. Unlike the experimental vaccines that we are being ceaselessly urged to take, ivermectin has been around for many years and is safe for all but a few people. (snip) here is the conclusion of the article (snip) ivermectin should be globally and systematically deployed in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.

Oh boy, another 'peer review' article that supports a miracle cheap and never used for any virus drug. Oh is a meta analysis from PREPRINT articles. That means we can't see the studies to judge for ourselves if that are valid. Oh and the studies are randomize and observational controllable. Not double blind with placebo controlled. So a huge investigator bias is already in play. COVID has been around just over a year. To design, fund, get Institutional Review Board arrival, sign up participants, have adequate amount of time to have enough participants to make any semi valid conclusions would take more than a year. Oh, and not exactly the most noted medical journal . We can't find a cure or even a vaccine for the common cold (of which COVID is one of many virus that causes the common cold) but in less than a year we can find a cheap 3rd world parasite drug is a miracle cure for a specific common cold virus. This sounds like some BS Democrat fantasy promise of some utopia.

Oh Thomas -- First -- Ivermectin has been widely used world wide to treat mild cases and as a preventative since early in the pandemic Second -- the quality of the published clinical trials establishing the value of ivermectin is moderate to poor Third -- the vaccines used in the US are highly effective (~95%) at preventing infection and reducing the severity of infection when they fail to prevent Fourth -- The vaccines are not "experimental", they have emergency use approval from the FDA Fifth -- a lot of people are afraid of needles. Just drum up some courage man! and get vaccinated to increase the chance that you (and others) will live long lives unencumbered by Covid.

#1 & #2 appear to have some un-credentialed information themselves. You’re both sorry fools. There have been numerous prophylactics and therapies used against COVID that have worked. Lemme guess...you work in the medical field?? Since this whole thing started my opinion of the MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX has gone way down. Hospitals and doctors aren’t interested in saving lives just making money and COVID has provided a way to create product. Still not taking the “vax” for the ‘Rona. Especially when we got Karen’s slobbering for a way to control.

Big Pharma is expecting many more billions in profits from their own patented although lightly tested cures. Can't have some Grandma's home remedy getting in the way of that. As long as the freedom of choice applies they can do what they like. When they start to use the word, "mandatory" there will be problems. The pressure is already being applied.

That this simple treatment was/is not used immediately for anyone presenting with COVID symptoms is malpractice. BigPharma controls medicine now and wants us all to get the vaccine and all the boosters they are already talking about. In the meantime, lots of folks are still getting COVID and are given NOTHING until they have to be hospitalized. It is criminal. I got the vaccine but have Ivermectin in the house in case any of the variants cause illness. There should be an EUA for the use of Ivermectin (see Dr. Peter McCullough’s protocol) but the drug is generic and too cheap to have any lobbyists behind it.,

One of these was done in Zimbabwe. Theses were controlled trials. From the study report - Therapeutic Advances: A large majority of randomized and observational controlled trials of ivermectin are reporting repeated, large magnitude improvements in clinical outcomes. Numerous prophylaxis trials demonstrate that regular ivermectin use leads to large reductions in transmission. Multiple, large “natural experiments” occurred in regions that initiated “ivermectin distribution” campaigns followed by tight, reproducible, temporally associated decreases in case counts and case fatality rates compared with nearby regions without such campaigns.

#1, peer reviewed studies are considered to be the best possible studies. Perhaps some facts on your side would be helpful for your derision. Feel free to choose your own path for YOUR OWN medical care, and please let me choose MY OWN path for MY medical care. If you want to avoid this treatment, nobody is forcing you to take it. But "they" are getting close to forcing people to take their 'vaccine'.

For those looking for answers please check out on Quora Steve Kirsch who runs an organization to fund off label studies for covid. His group helped fund the Washington School of Medicine study on Fluvoxamine last year and one ongoing this year. He advises early treatment with ivermectin and fluvoxamin both of which are very difficult to get prescribed for covid - you can get either drug easisly if you have worms or OCD. He notes that the CDC will not recommend drugs unless they pass the Phase 1,2, 3. The CDC is overly conservative to 'preserve the public trust' ! I say the reluctance is to save the bureaucrats' butts. The sad thing is this - net result of the current CDC advice is that in America about 100,000 people die from COVID each month and many more will have long term effects. This is nasty disease which we cannot dismiss - I just wish our medical community would be braver and the media less oppositional.

The first recorded use of the donkey to represent the Democrat party was in a Harper’s Weekly cartoon entitled, “A live jackass kicking a dead lion.” While the jackass would be a better mascot, modern Democrats would consider the mascot sexist as a jackass is a male donkey. Female donkeys are called “jennies,” although in Congress they are referred to as “The Squad.” If one looks at the modern-day Democrat party, including Democrats in elected office and behind cable news anchor desks, the jackass would be a representative mascot. But post-COVID, I propose a new mascot, the simple face mask, a facial covering used to signify virtue,

I continue to believe that Donald Trump would be in the White House but for massive election fraud. It is an example of how unfair life can be that he is not. However, there is some compensation coming Trump’s way. Day after day, on issue after issue, he’s proven to be correct, whether it was that he pursued policies that worked well for Americans, made predictions that were accurate, or did not do the heinous things that Democrats claimed he’d done. Of course, being Trump, he’s not shy about trumpeting that vindication.
