April 24 was Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, marking 106 years since the start of the Armenian Genocide, when the Ottoman Turks massacred approximately 1.5 million Armenians during World War I.
Most objective historians who have examined the topic unequivocally agree that it was a deliberate, calculated genocide. According to the Genocide Education Project:
More than one million Armenians perished as the result of execution, starvation, disease, the harsh environment, and physical abuse. A people who lived in eastern Turkey for nearly 3,000 years [more than double the amount of time the invading Islamic Turks had occupied Anatolia, now known as “Turkey”] lost its homeland.

I know many Armenians; they are a fine people. My prayer list is loooong, and they will -all of them- be included.

Evil Muslim Turks still killing Christian Armenians, THAT's what's really happening. I have a number of Armenian friends here in the states, and in Armenia. Islam is a cancer on humanity, always has been. And the Azerbijanis are also Muslims, and periodically attack the tiny, tiny country of Armenia.

i am one came to great USA from Egypt with my mother on visitation terms to see my grandparents in Texas (Armenian community established in the towns near Houston Texas called Brookshire and Pattison era 1920's) Luckily WWII broke out and unable to return so after so many yrs applied for citizeship. Attended Texas A & M College then thru ROTC served in the service during Korean War. Armenians can be identified by the words ending in their last name ian or yan for example Hovsepian. USA the great country of the world.

Well, a belated welcome, Joseph. I visited Yerevan and the countryside, a number of interesting tourist sites in Armenia over a 10 year business span. And my business and travel partner was a native Armenian, who came to the USA and became a citizen.

Wherever Islam rules, hatred, violence, and death follow.
Clearly Armenia needs protection from its Islamic neighbors. Sadly, their best option is Russia. Pray for their safety. They need it badly.

We always seem to look the other way when the religion of peace practices genocide, but we always get our panties in a wad if someone practices genocide against them. Unless it's the chinese, then it's OK!

I am a son of an Armenian Genocide survivor, who was also eye witness to what the Turks did.
My grand parents fought back in the battle of Musa Dagh, had to be evacuated by the French navy to Port Said in Egypt, then moved to refugee camp in Der Al-Zour in Syria, then ran away again to Norther Iraq, then to Baghdad, only to be forced to run again from war zone. Applied for immigration, came here legally. This is the greatest country in the world. Nothing even remotely close.
I tell you despite now being over 60, I would enlist and fight for this country if needed without hesitation.
Those of us who have seen tyranny and its products, socialism and persecution first hand certainly appreciate this great country.
Armenia today is roughly 20% of its legal and rightful land. Turkey occupied most of what was formerly known as western Armenia, Azerbaijan with the help of communist Soviet Russia dictator Joseph Staling occupies most of eastern Armenia. Both outnumber Armenians, both are ruled by genocidal maniacs, both have indoctrinated their citizens to hate Armenians and view them as inferior humans that need to be wiped.
Armenians despite being outnumbered and outgunned, continue to defend their land.
Armenia was the first Christian nation in history. Christianity is in Armenians DNA. Whenever an Armenian travels to, or immigrates to, they first build a church, even at times before building their own homes. That made Armenia a target for neighboring predators, Armenians hated by the radicals. The Lord will take care of Armenians.
God bless America. The greatest country in history. God bless and protect our constitutional republic.
