Steve Deace on ‘Faucian Bargain’: Second
Opinions About COVID-19 Denied to Americans

Americans are being denied access to key information about COVID-19 by unelected bureaucrats who seek to expand government power and control, warned talk show host and author Steve Deace, whose new book “Faucian Bargain” recently topped Amazon’s bestsellers list. (Snip) “For example, if the average American knew that almost half of the deaths in America with COVID occurred in nursing homes where less than one percent of Americans live, we would have never ever gone along with this level of subjugation,” Deace told host Jan Jekielek. “These are the sorts of data points that have been kept from the American people, so they have not been given the right to informed

There are some facts here that I didn't know, such as a study from the U. of Minnesota showing that masks don't prevent the spread of Covid that had to be almost retracted because of the woke mob. It's probably a book worth reading.

Something about this whole thing stinks. Not just the minor details; the whole shooting match. I dont believe anything the government has to say about this covid, to include whether or not it even exists. I'm seeing no real evidence of a pandemic, an epidemic, or even a bug going around. All I see is people acting as if they are in a big fat simulation or exercise.

We in the Erie, Pa area had 150 illegals, girls, ages 4-12, brought here recently. 100 of them were distributed around the U.S., 50 remained, and two days ago, a chartered 737 flew the 50 to LaGuardia., 30 of them tested positive for the Kung Flu, but the local infectious disease specialist said they represented no risk. Why were they flown to NYC? Because, in my opinion, they are a commodity - a commercial property for those who house them. The federal government is exceedingly generous to those who take the children.

Fauci has stated only one thing that was true since the beginning. It's that masks don't work. Everything after that has been politically motivated. I think most people are fed up with all the restrictions, but don't know what to do about it. They don't want to be the one to upset the apple cart. Every store requires one to wear a mask. Unless the majority of people decide not to shop, or not to wear a mask, the requirement will remain in place. It makes no sense to require someone to wear a mask when one walks into eating establishment, and then it's ok to take it off once seated. There is no common sense in any of it.

If you don’t recall the long sad story of the nine black teenagers convicted for raping two white women nine decades ago in Alabama, convictions clearly handed down in an atmosphere of extreme racial prejudice, here’s the account. In much the same way, I believe the conviction of Derek Chauvin on three counts -- each with inconsistent elements of the offense -- in an undeniably prejudicial atmosphere violates the Supreme Court ruling in Sheppard v Maxwell (384 U.S. 333) where the Court ruled that while the press had the right under the First Amendment to publish stories about the murder of Sam Sheppard’s wife, the defendant had the right

Requiring children wear masks does more harm than good, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya told The Epoch Times. Bhattacharya advised Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis not to make children don face coverings. Bhattacharya is a professor of medicine at Stanford University. He’s a health economist by training. “I think about things from a cost-benefit point of view, you have to think about what the costs and benefits are of any policy to set before you make a recommendation,” Bhattacharya said on The Epoch Times’ “American Thought Leaders.” “In the case of masks, the evidence that children spread the disease even without a mask is that they’re much less efficient spreaders.

Most Americans are convinced there is an “epidemic” of police shooting unarmed black males in America. This widespread misperception is reinforced with misreportage, sensationalized reportage, missing context, and the lack of reporting on analogous cases. In February, a survey was released that showed how many adults overestimate the number of adult unarmed black males were killed by police officers in 2019 (the last year with full data available). The Skeptic Research Center published the results, which were broken down by political ideology. A chart based on these responses is posted below:

A North Carolina education advocacy group launched a website this week to help whistleblowers expose radicalism in K-12 schools. Education First Alliance launched its Schoolhouse Shock watchdog site on Monday to help parents and teachers call attention to radicalism in the classroom. Users can anonymously upload videos, photos, and documents from their child’s class to catalog critical race theory-based lessons being taught in schools. "Our new statewide whistleblower program, Schoolhouse Shock, will add to our toolbox in the fight against the onslaught of racially inflammatory and sexualized curriculums that children are being immersed in all over North Carolina," Sloan Rachmuth, Education First Alliance president, said in a statement.

A pair of doctors at Brigham and Women's Hospital last month outlined a pilot program that, they said, would offer "preferential care" to patients of color. The proposal, published in Boston Review, accuses hospitals across the country of practicing "medical apartheid"—something they said must be addressed through "race-explicit interventions." Those interventions may violate civil rights laws, and Brigham and Women's Hospital assured the Washington Free Beacon that they are "not currently underway at the hospital." That hasn't stopped one of its authors, Dr. Michelle Morse, from moving on up: She is now the chief medical officer of New York City. In her new post, Morse will wield enormous influence

I can’t stand any more cant -- the hypocritical, sanctimonious blather so common to our public and private educational institutions, the media, politicians, interest groups and corporations. Our “trainers” claimed this was an example of a subconscious implicit bias. This was surely a modern depiction of King Kong and Fay Wray, they claimed. (Snip) The purpose of this training was not just to reveal implicit bias, but also to accuse our community of systemic racism that needed to be disrupted and dismantled to root out this type of white supremacist thinking. From this training onward, I’ve watched Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) implode under the destructive

The end of the pandemic is nigh. Americans continue to get vaccinated at a rapid clip. Life will be moving on. Except, it seems, for children. For more than a year, they have suffered from irrational, unscientific and downright superstitious policies inflicted upon them by adults — and there is no end in sight. In March, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ¬issued new guidance that three-foot social distancing suffices in schools, instead of the usual six. Yet in many localities where teachers unions wield power, schools still didn’t fully reopen. (Snip) Many places in Europe, including Britain, as well as some schools across America, long ago scrapped social-distancing ¬requirements

Red China constantly rethinks how it will become the world's leading superpower, and plans accordingly. The Epoch Times has just published a detailed plan delivered in a speech in July, 2016, laying out how the People's Republic can overtake the United States as the world's leading nation. (Snip) The speech, kept secret until now, combined four elements: 1) weakening the United States by becoming increasingly involved in American affairs, and 2) infiltrating Chinese agents into the U.S. political system. The object would be to control the outcome of American elections. Jin calculated that it is possible to bring pro-Chinese candidates to power in House elections to ensure pro-Chinese policies.

On a recent walk, I came across a neighborhood littered with the yard sign in this photo. It seems the provocative platitudes we’ve seen on bumper stickers for a century have now taken root in our yards. And for the same reason: To tell the world that the sign-planter holds wonderful beliefs that he’s willing to impose upon and attribute to the rest of his family. It’s surely not because the sign-planter thinks he’s persuading anyone of the rightness of his position, as if the neighbors reading the sign will say to themselves, “Gee, ‘Democracy dies in darkness’ is a great point. I’d never thought of it that way.”

CNN’s Chris Cuomo railed against the Census Bureau on his show Monday with his guest Michael Smerconish and intimated that the agency is actively helping Republicans increase their numbers in Congress. As mandated in the Constitution, the Census Bureau is tasked with tracking the nation’s population growth by state. It then appropriates the number of seats each state gets in the House of Representatives and that is directly connected to the Electoral College calculation. They stick to the numbers since they are part of the U.S. Federal Statistical System.Cuomo seems to believe there is something nefarious going on rather than straight-up demographics.
