How do you rise to this level in business while making these decisions? Mere weeks after going public with stern words about the new election law in Georgia, Coca-Cola has become far more muted in its corporate bellowing. Now, we know why. A new poll has come out to show more than pushback from select citizens has taken place; there is widespread rejection of the company’s bold pronouncement, becoming just the latest in a growing list of companies who have suffered self-imposed, negative PR. It has been nothing less than a consistent failure with all of the various business entities which rose up in protest of the Georgia election law.

First tell white people they are not welcome to drink your product. Then go woke about an election law you clearly have not read or took the time to understand. Yeah, that is a great 1-2 punch for losing lots of customers. I know my husband I haven't had a Coke product in weeks, and don't plan to ever go back.

As long as their market share in China keeps going up, they don't care and can afford to lose US market share. 1.4 billion speaks much louder than 330 million. There's power in numbers. "Quantity has its own level of quality". J Stalin.

Since Mr. Quincey, the CEO of Coke, is not even an American citizen it is particularly galling to hear him pop off on things that are none of his business. It is made worse by the fact that his native country brought slavery to this country and we have been trying to undo the damage for 250 years, at great cost to ourselves. If our voting laws aren’t to his liking perhaps he would like to expound on human freedom in his new crush, China. The phony. Signed, a lifelong coke enthusiast who now finds tap water just the thing.

Those 33% less likely blacks are the ones who are smart enough to get what an insult it is to all blacks when the left insinuates that they aren’t smart enough or capable enough to get an ID. Question for the left - are blacks not able to get a covid vaccine because they aren’t smart enough to get an ID? Are they allowed to get the vaccine without ID? These woke companies may believe that they can just walk back their idiocy and all will be forgiven. Ask the NFL how that is working out. Good luck getting the woke paste back in the tube. Necessities of life do not include Coca Cola products, Delta airlines and Will Smith movies. Green tea is better for you. Southwest is fine (so far). I haven't been to a movie in ages. Books are better. Companies making nonessential products or providing nonessential services really should keep their mouths SHUT!

Leaders at Coke and other corporations have to decide which is more important: to please their customers or to appease the rich Fascists and Marxists (Democrats) with whom they socialize and who write the rules that control their businesses, all while living in fear of boycotts and shakedowns from BLM wokesters. Wealthy cowards that they are, they generally take the path of appeasement.

I'll bet nearly every one of those large, publicly traded companies, have internal company ID badges they need to scan to enter a building, or to "check-in and check-out". I'll bet they require an ID to do all sorts of things. Wonder if any would allow for 2020 election rules for their Board elections, or any other approvals needed by shareholders? In other words, drop boxes without any chain of custody, no ID to show you are an eligible shareholder with the right to vote, or able have the count go on for 10 days after the election deadline.

Why Wind and Solar Energy Are Doomed to Failure 44 replies

Wind and solar energy are both essentially obsolete technologies. There is a reason why only the very rich or the very adventurous sail across oceans: the wind is unreliable, and at best produces relatively little energy. Nevertheless, liberals have concocted fantasies whereby all of our electricity, or perhaps our entire economy, will be powered by those fickle sources. There are a number of reasons why this will never happen, but a paper published last week by Center of the American Experiment argues that land use constraints are the most basic reason why wind and solar are inexorably destined to fail. The paper, titled Not In Our Backyard, is authored by

There is no nation on earth more generous than the United States of America. We supply half of all food aid around the world, feeding an estimated 600 million people. We rush aid to people hit by natural disasters, sending ships of war, experts, and, of course, billions in cash. Even a bitter enemy like North Korea, which receives substantial food aid from the U.S., gets help when the calls go out. No other nation comes close to matching the generosity of the American people or its government to help those less fortunate. So why all the bitching about the United States wanting to vaccinate its own people first

Joe Biden is not a stupid man. He may believe crazy stuff but he certainly knows that raising taxes on the most productive members of society and their capital will choke off economic growth as the nation emerges from its self-inflicted, pandemic economic wounds. With less growth and fewer jobs, Biden is fully aware of what his policies will do. But looking at the politics of Biden’s situation, you can see why he doesn’t feel he has a choice. Unless Republicans shoot themselves in the foot, they are bound to win back at least one house of Congress. That telescopes Biden’s time to make good on the trillions of dollars in promises

An unruly crowd entered the US Capitol on Jan. 6, while then-President Donald Trump addressed a rally several blocks away. One member of that crowd, Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed woman and a veteran, was shot by the Capitol Police. The next day, Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died in the hospital. On Jan. 8, The New York Times reported that Officer Sicknick had died after being struck in the head with a fire extinguisher by violent Trump supporters. This story was quickly repeated by numerous other media outlets. Millions believed it. The story was false. Sicknick died of two strokes, which occurred many hours after the invasion of the Capitol.

When Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, lifted his statewide face mask mandate and his limits on business occupancy in early March, Democrats warned that he was inviting a public health disaster. Yet a month and a half later, newly identified coronavirus cases in Texas have fallen by more than 50 percent, and daily deaths have dropped even more. Meanwhile, states with stricter COVID-19 regulations have seen spikes in daily new cases. This is not the pattern you would expect to see if government-imposed restrictions played a crucial role in curtailing the pandemic, as advocates of those policies assume. Abbott's critics did not mince words.

James rushed to conclusions about the shooting of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant, a black girl who appears to have been lunging at someone with a deadly knife when the cop shot her. James later took down the tweet, but he claimed that this shooting represents yet more evidence of systemic racism. The pair accused such outlets of “journalistic malpractice” because they weren’t being honest (an ironic notion given who was flinging it). Their knock came as NewsBusters drove part of the Thursday news cycle with a report exposing NBC’s deception against their audience; editing out a key part of the 911 call and not showing the knife

A Minnesota jury has found former police officer Derek Chauvin guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter. This means they claim to have concluded that they unanimously believe beyond a reasonable doubt that Chauvin caused Floyd’s death. Given the circumstances of the trial, however, it’s extremely hard to believe the jury was solely concerned with either truth or justice. It’s extremely hard, if not impossible, for any thinking person not to have a reasonable doubt about the outcome. We know the judge in the case refused to sequester jurors from media coverage and outside influences during the trial, and that the pressure conveyed to them was beyond intense.

In that regard, she’s just another leftist politician. What’s bizarre about Kamala is her inappropriate laughter about things that ought to inspire solemnity. What makes laughter inappropriate? It’s inappropriate when you’re speaking to a crowd and you’re the only one who laughs. Of course, that can also happen to a bad comedian, but there’s no indication in the clip below that Kamala was trying to tell a joke.

n the debate over whether one should or should not get the COVID vaccination, much has been said about the “science.” However, I’m not sure any encyclopedic knowledge of “science” is required to make this health decision. Simple statistical analysis should suffice to inform one’s ultimate decision. Statistics is primarily a study of probabilities. Fortunately, as regards COVID mortality rates, these probabilities are now known. That is, COVID mortality statistics broken down by age cohorts are now “known knowables.” For example, through statistics as of April 7, the odds an American under the age of 25 would die from COVID were 1-in-106,217.
