Trump Savages LeBron James For Threatening

On Wednesday, NBA Lakers star LeBron James tweeted something that looked very much like an incitement to murder a police officer. James rushed to conclusions about the shooting of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant, a black girl who appears to have been lunging at someone with a deadly knife when the cop shot her. James later took down the tweet, but he claimed that this shooting represents yet more evidence of systemic racism. President Donald Trump took him to task on Thursday night. “LeBron James should focus on basketball rather than presiding over the destruction of the NBA, which has just recorded the lowest

Maybe LeBron needs to be tired of blacks killing each other. 27 people were killed by cops last year and 26% of them were black. There have been that many shootings n Chicago in a single weekend. Until BLM and the rest of the Marxist warriors want to admit the truth and address the real problems then no, black lives do not matter to them.

LeBron could save some face by apologizing and walking it back, saying he had only seen NBC's reporting and was reacting to that. Instead he'll probably pour more gasoline on the fire, figuratively speaking.

Well every time we have seen the police shoot a Black person, there is always one, two or three constants at play, the suspect failed to comply with lawful instructions of the police, the suspect violently attempted to resist arrest, or the suspect was trying to murder another citizen or a police officer.

Lebron should be arrested and sued by this police officer for endangering his life and his family. Lebron is not that smart, he put it in writing and it can be held against him. Thank God that Trump stood up to this guy and let him have it.

I admire how our President speaks his mind and says what so many of us are thinking. He is the kind of leader we need but through our political inadequacies we allowed this baboon and his accomplice to become something they should never been allowed to become. if there is a just God he must certainly be making plans for an adjustment to our present situation and will rectify the problem we have instituted. I hope so.

Lebron James claims that he is tired of people using his words to spread hate? What exactly does King Lebron James think that his tweet did? He jumps to conclusions, makes false claims about police, and makes a specific threat against a police officer who saved at least two black females from being stabbed and probably killed. Remember, it was Black people who called the police in this instance about a crazy black person going after people with a knife. Maybe Lebron James doesn't think this is an issue a it is a normal part of black culture (according to some people on TV) and should be ignored. Lebron James should use his position to educated people to support and respect the police nd encourage blacks to not break the law. When this occurs, police involved shootings will decrease.

Why Wind and Solar Energy Are Doomed to Failure 38 replies

Wind and solar energy are both essentially obsolete technologies. There is a reason why only the very rich or the very adventurous sail across oceans: the wind is unreliable, and at best produces relatively little energy. Nevertheless, liberals have concocted fantasies whereby all of our electricity, or perhaps our entire economy, will be powered by those fickle sources. There are a number of reasons why this will never happen, but a paper published last week by Center of the American Experiment argues that land use constraints are the most basic reason why wind and solar are inexorably destined to fail. The paper, titled Not In Our Backyard, is authored by

There is no nation on earth more generous than the United States of America. We supply half of all food aid around the world, feeding an estimated 600 million people. We rush aid to people hit by natural disasters, sending ships of war, experts, and, of course, billions in cash. Even a bitter enemy like North Korea, which receives substantial food aid from the U.S., gets help when the calls go out. No other nation comes close to matching the generosity of the American people or its government to help those less fortunate. So why all the bitching about the United States wanting to vaccinate its own people first

Joe Biden is not a stupid man. He may believe crazy stuff but he certainly knows that raising taxes on the most productive members of society and their capital will choke off economic growth as the nation emerges from its self-inflicted, pandemic economic wounds. With less growth and fewer jobs, Biden is fully aware of what his policies will do. But looking at the politics of Biden’s situation, you can see why he doesn’t feel he has a choice. Unless Republicans shoot themselves in the foot, they are bound to win back at least one house of Congress. That telescopes Biden’s time to make good on the trillions of dollars in promises

One member of that crowd, Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed woman and a veteran, was shot by the Capitol Police. The next day, Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died in the hospital. On Jan. 8, The New York Times reported that Officer Sicknick had died after being struck in the head with a fire extinguisher by violent Trump supporters. The COVID-19 Disaster That Did Not Happen in Texas 5 replies

When Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, lifted his statewide face mask mandate and his limits on business occupancy in early March, Democrats warned that he was inviting a public health disaster. Yet a month and a half later, newly identified coronavirus cases in Texas have fallen by more than 50 percent, and daily deaths have dropped even more. Meanwhile, states with stricter COVID-19 regulations have seen spikes in daily new cases. This is not the pattern you would expect to see if government-imposed restrictions played a crucial role in curtailing the pandemic, as advocates of those policies assume. Abbott's critics did not mince words.

A Minnesota jury has found former police officer Derek Chauvin guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter. This means they claim to have concluded that they unanimously believe beyond a reasonable doubt that Chauvin caused Floyd’s death. Given the circumstances of the trial, however, it’s extremely hard to believe the jury was solely concerned with either truth or justice. It’s extremely hard, if not impossible, for any thinking person not to have a reasonable doubt about the outcome. We know the judge in the case refused to sequester jurors from media coverage and outside influences during the trial, and that the pressure conveyed to them was beyond intense.

n the debate over whether one should or should not get the COVID vaccination, much has been said about the “science.” However, I’m not sure any encyclopedic knowledge of “science” is required to make this health decision. Simple statistical analysis should suffice to inform one’s ultimate decision. Statistics is primarily a study of probabilities. Fortunately, as regards COVID mortality rates, these probabilities are now known. That is, COVID mortality statistics broken down by age cohorts are now “known knowables.” For example, through statistics as of April 7, the odds an American under the age of 25 would die from COVID were 1-in-106,217.

It’s inappropriate when you’re speaking to a crowd and you’re the only one who laughs.
