The list of tragedies resulting from the death of George Floyd last year is extensive. The most obvious is, of course, the demise of Floyd himself; a 46-year old man who’d previously shown promise as a musician and athlete, but who became plagued by demons and ultimately died after a dreadful series of events. There are others, however… many, many others. There were 25 people who died in the mostly-peaceful Black Lives Matter/Antifa riots that followed Floyd’s passing. The military did not detect previous flights of Chinese spy balloons over the U.S. that took place during the Trump administration, a top general said Monday, due to a "gap" in the Defense Department's ability to track certain airborne objects. Gen. Glen VanHerck, head of North American Aerospace Defense Command, cited the issue as the reason that at least three spy balloon flights were not briefed to senior Trump officials at the time.

I really miss Rush. Regardless how complex or critical the issue, I could always count on Rush Limbaugh’s entirely rational and moral analysis, delivered by an apex professional with genuine compassion, even for those with whom he disagreed.
He was ensconced behind that golden EIB microphone; a master of ideas and argument. From his lofty height, he engaged with every thorny problem with an equanimity that drew a placid sagacity from an ocean of experience, and confidence. After all, Rush was “documented almost always right 99.7% of the time.”
