Maybe they will have Biden give Mondale’s eulogy so that Biden can tell the country about his (The Big Guy’s) life story all over again!

The author is on my 'never bother' list and Mondale isn't someone that I want to learn more about. And from that author....I wouldn't trust it anyway. And the poster is on my 'never bother' list, too.

Mondale was pretty far left for his time. But he was a disciple of Hubert Humphrey, a good guy who didn't hate people. Reagan beat Mondale like a rented mule and Mondale was fairly gracious about it. Different type of Democrat. God rest his soul and give him peace.

#4 is right on. Mondale and Humphrey were civilized Democrats. Never met Mondale, but one late evening at Duluth airport, clustered with about 25 other Air Force members and families (and no press), about 100 yards from Air Force 2, saw Humphrey's car pull up to the aircraft steps. Then watched Humphrey walk over to us, shake our hands, and thank us for coming out. Back then, that was a big deal. He and Mondale actually liked people.

An example of his "sense of humor": When looking out at the crowd of Democrats at his convention in 1984: "Look at 'em, We're going to tax their asses off."

He honestly said he would raise taxes. The result was the Reagan landslide. Democrats vowed never to go down that route again. And they haven't.

Inside baseball and Inside Politics and Inside Mondale. Mondale's daughter, Eleanor, was known as a "Wild Child" for good reason. For instance, she became one of President Bill Clinton's favorite bed partners. Monica (another regular visitor at the White House brothel during Clinton) made an unplanned visit there when Bill was "entertaining" Eleanor. Bad timing!! Monica was furious. Check it out.

Correct #6. He told the crowd as President he would raise all their taxes and they cheered loudly. He got the joke but the drones did not.

God does work in mysterious ways. Tim Tebow would agree. And now the devout Christian athlete has shown it again. What a story! That team is now coached by – wait for it – Tebow’s former collegiate coach, Urban Meyer, who’s branded success wherever he’s coached.  Here’s a contrary thought: The banishment of Donald Trump from the omnipotent octopus of Big Tech’s social media is actually good for his return to presidential politics, if indeed he’s serious about pulling off a Grover Cleveland-style return in 2024. The absence of a steady stream of his angry, indulgent tweets from the online consciousness of most Americans allows that tedious torrent of tumult to drift into the foggy memories of an inattentive nation that grew tired of it, despite Trump’s numerous policy successes. The first rescue dog entered my life in 1950. He was a St. Bernard living in the cramped city apartment of an elderly lady who was kind but couldn’t care for a giant, even a gentle one like Buddy. In 2017, when Barack Obama left the White House, he had conducted 416 fundraisers in 417 weeks in office. That was an accurate reflection of his political priority — Money.
