Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor and conservative Justice Neil Gorsuch formed an unlikely allegiance Wednesday when they united for a public discussion calling on Americans to learn to communicate and talk civilly to each other as an urgent matter of national security. The SCOTUS justices have warned that the nation's democracy is under threat as a result of out-of-control 'heated' debates and said it's made worse by the spread of disinformation online.'How can a democracy function if we can't talk to one another and if we can't disagree kindly, with respect for one another's differences and different points of view?' Gorsuch asked

Apparently they are so insulated and isolated that they only watch tv news and social media. Do they have NO clue that the 75 million of us who voted for Trump are NOT out here getting in rumbles, but we are being as tolerant as humanly possible to our friends, family and co-workers who lean left? We have no time to scream and shout because we are working every day, paying our bills, taking care of our families, improving ourselves, and being grateful to be citizens of this great country? And even if they only watch tv - compare Fox and CNN and tell me who's lying and inciting? GOSH, this is discouraging. Slip sliding away.

The supremes could end this tomorrow by removing the protection their predecessors gave the news media against libel lawsuits. It is not really a problem of social media - these businesses have seen to that with their monopolistic evil. No, it is much more due to the unfettered freedom of the MSM to lie about conservative Republicans without fear of consequences.

I suspect the justices' discussion was devoid of partisan perspective and focused on the need for civil discourse. I also suspect the Daily Mail supplied the examples, all anti-Trump. Nothing about the Russian hoax, a rogue FBI, one-sided social media, the death of journalism with the deliberate stifling of the conservative perspective.

You mean like the conversation between Dan Bongino and Geraldo Rivera last night on the Hannity show? I enjoyed the heated exchange, particularly given the fact that Rivera had said that Bongino was a "name caller." Then Rivera, during the last fifteen seconds or so called Bongino an SOB and a "punk." Classical projection. I love it!!

That is not true. Democracy is under threat because a clique of communists have taken over the government, and are using force to impose their views on how people should live, despite not living that way themselves.

Thirteen-year-old Adam Toledo didn’t deserve to die. He didn’t deserve to die for violating curfew. He didn’t deserve to die for unlawfully discharging a weapon. He didn’t deserve to die for being in possession of a handgun. He didn’t deserve to die because he was a black kid in a high-crime area. He didn’t deserve to die for running away when police ordered him to stop. He didn’t even deserve to die for having a gun in his hand and running away from the police. Police are trained to handle situations like this without killing someone.None of those offenses carry a death sentence in a court of law.

How did this happen? How did the nation go in an instant from disbelieving every utterance of Donald Trump to robotically repeating — and acting on — every claim that falls out of Joe Biden’s mouth, no matter how disconnected from the truth? The most glaring example involves Biden’s fact-challenged tirade against Georgia’s new voting law. At his first and only press conference, Biden declared the state’s efforts to protect against voter fraud were worse than Jim Crow, “un-American,” “sick,” and “despicable.” (This was the same press conference where moments later Biden bragged about how much time he’s spent with China’s genocidal communist dictator before calling him “a smart, smart guy.”)

Anybody who’s taking Dr. Anthony Fauci seriously probably needs to stop doing so. He endlessly moves the goalposts to maintain his unlimited power over the American people, something Democrats support. That’s why, on Thursday, during House testimony, Rep. Maxine Watters (who is a low-rent harridan) tried to shut down Rep. Jim Jordan’s efforts to get Fauci to say when enough Americans will be vaccinated so that COVID restrictions can end. The past year has shown that Fauci either has no idea what he’s talking about or is trying to advance an agenda that invariably has to do with maintaining the 2020 status quo of lockdowns, isolation, and masks.
