Wednesday, she held a press conference and Zoom-like round table on just what she plans to do about the migrant surge at the border, looking for all those "root causes."

On Friday, Japanese Prime Minister Joshihide Suga became the first world leader to visit the Biden White House. These visits help set the tone for an administration. That being the case, the new administration’s tone is inept and rude. Biden was also absent for the first part of it, leaving an awkward Kamala Harris to trash the U.S. for gun violence before turning to welcome Suga. When Biden took over, things went downhill. (snip) Normally, when a foreign head of state arrives, the President gives him or her a formal greeting. This time, however, the President was nowhere to be found.

Anybody who’s taking Dr. Anthony Fauci seriously probably needs to stop doing so. He endlessly moves the goalposts to maintain his unlimited power over the American people, something Democrats support. That’s why, on Thursday, during House testimony, Rep. Maxine Watters (who is a low-rent harridan) tried to shut down Rep. Jim Jordan’s efforts to get Fauci to say when enough Americans will be vaccinated so that COVID restrictions can end.
The past year has shown that Fauci either has no idea what he’s talking about or is trying to advance an agenda that invariably has to do with maintaining the 2020 status quo of lockdowns, isolation, and masks.
If the Progressives (socialists, globalists, Deep State) were hoping President Trump would go quietly into that dark night, they are sadly mistaken. (snip) Rather than looking like John Adams or Jimmy Carter or Bush 41, Trump is showing a remarkable resemblance to President Andrew Jackson. The political histories are remarkably similar. One of the things I couldn’t help but notice during the BLM protests last year was the fact that deeply distraught, hysterically angry white women seemed to be taking the lead in many of the protests. It turns out that I may have been on to something. A women’s publication called Evie has caught up with the fact that a study from last year found that over half of white, Democrat women have been diagnosed at one time or another with a mental health problem. I’m not at all surprised.

The words “epic” or “magnificent” are becoming cliched because they’re constantly used as clickbait headlines for things that are anything but “epic” or “magnificent.” That’s a shame because both words apply with their original force to Tucker Carlson’s opening monologue on Monday night. He brought both logic and passion to explaining that the Democrat party’s open borders policy is deliberately intended to import people who will vote for Democrats. In hindsight, what he said is completely obvious but too few people think about illegal immigration in the terms Tucker did. More must if we are to preserve our liberty-oriented, merit-based, constitutional republic.

Within hours, the Minneapolis suburb, which is almost 30% black was threatening the police, rioting, and looting. That’s barely a headline nowadays. What was more interesting and, to born-and-raised American citizens, more disturbing, was the fact that, when Brooklyn Center’s city manager insisted that the police officer still gets the benefit of due process, the City Council promptly fired him.

I am not a big fan of Chris Wallace of Fox News, but to his credit he called BS on Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg yesterday in an eight-and-a-half-minute interview on Fox News Sunday, even while letting the biggest lie pass with no comment.
Wallace let slide the most egregious misrepresentation, that less than 10% of the multi-trillion dollar so-called “infrastructure” bill for which Buttigieg has become a point man is dedicated to genuine infrastructure – roads, bridges, airports and the power grid. That was not of interest to Wallace. There are limits to his willingness to challenge progressives.

The poll asked registered voters if they support or oppose American companies using their public role, position, or events to influence political, cultural, or social change. An elderly Mexican-American woman was badly beaten by a racist bus passenger who mistook her for an Asian-American, the victim's son said. WEST YELLOWSTONE — A person is recovering at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after being attacked by a grizzly bear Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to an area near Bakers Hole Campground around 3:45 p.m., according to a Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office news release. They searched for 50 minutes before finding the injured person, who had significant scalp and facial injuries. Gallatin County Sheriff Search & Rescue were called to respond on snowmobile with a rescue toboggan. The victim was loaded onto the toboggan and taken to a nearby ambulance. Hebgen Basin Fire Department EMS crews then drove the patient to EIRMC.

According to pollsters at Quinnipiac University, 69 percent of all Americans and clear majorities in every demographic group now favor the legalization of marijuana. That's up from 51 percent of Americans who said they favored legalization in 2012, the first year Quinnipiac included questions about marijuana in their national surveys, and up from 60 percent who backed legalization in 2019.
