Gino Fiebelkorn has taken to sleeping during the day, when the crowd outside his apartment is mostly camera crews and reporters. But by evening, he starts prepping for another night "in a war zone." He tapes up the back door frame of his garden-level apartment on Humboldt Avenue in Brooklyn Center—an attempt to keep out clouds of tear gas that have filled his neighborhood since Sunday night. And then he stations himself at the apartment building's back door, prepared to pull in injured protesters and ward off troublemakers.(Snip) "My place smells like smoke and there are times when it's hard to breathe,"

Comments:

Are they down with the struggle, or are they not? Sure, they'll put up BLACK LIVES MATTER and JUSTIZZ FO DAYKWAN signs, but when they're inconvenienced by the upheaval they demanded, they complain.

The apartment owner gets ready to pull in protestors! Really. The people who should be protesting are the police! They are being set up again. That driver took off. He was a stinkin jerk. Tried to choke a women. Stoke her rent money. Now he’s being given a halo! I don’t feel one bit sorry for the people who live amongst the rioters that support them. Bi actually could not care less.

Welcome to the new neighborhood. Blacks are only interested in one thing . What’s in it for me. They really don’t care about anything but what’s in it for me.

FTA:I just keep having to say to them that no one is trying to hurt us. She's also been trying to convince her 3-year-old daughter, Samaya. She's terrified of police, Crayton said. Why would a 3-year old be terrified of the police? I doubt a child that young can grasp the concept of law enforcement - unless their minds are being poisoned.

Is there a Gofundme set up for Officer Potter? I can't get an answer from Google. I'd like to contribute to it, if there is one. And I don't think I'm alone.

You’d be forgiven for wondering what an urban rail system in Honolulu has to do with crushing the coronavirus. Yet tucked inside last month’s nearly $2 trillion COVID-19 spending spree is $70 million headed for Hawaii to bail out a struggling 20-mile railway that has been under construction for a decade, was supposed to have opened a year ago, hasn’t carried a single passenger, and despite the federal help will still find itself a few billion—with a B—in the red.(Snip) For budget watchdogs, the railway is a cautionary tale in boondogglery, combining the worst impulses of local government officials

On Friday, Japanese Prime Minister Joshihide Suga became the first world leader to visit the Biden White House. These visits help set the tone for an administration. That being the case, the new administration’s tone is inept and rude. Biden was also absent for the first part of it, leaving an awkward Kamala Harris to trash the U.S. for gun violence before turning to welcome Suga. When Biden took over, things went downhill. How did this happen? How did the nation go in an instant from disbelieving every utterance of Donald Trump to robotically repeating — and acting on — every claim that falls out of Joe Biden’s mouth, no matter how disconnected from the truth? The most glaring example involves Biden’s fact-challenged tirade against Georgia’s new voting law. At his first and only press conference, Biden declared the state’s efforts to protect against voter fraud were worse than Jim Crow, “un-American,” “sick,” and “despicable.” (This was the same press conference where moments later Biden bragged about how much time he’s spent with China’s genocidal communist dictator before calling him “a smart, smart guy.”)

President Obama was well known for his diplomatic blunders, stumbles and curt demeanor with many foreign dignitaries including Queen Elizabeth II. Unsurprisingly it appears the JoeBama administration is picking up right where Obama left off. Japanese Prime Minister Joshihide Suga was the first world leader to visit the White House since Biden’s installation, and the poor form began with no-one greeting the head of the Japanese government upon arrival. When you consider the leftist narrative about stopping Asian hate, there is a rather ironic aspect to this visit and snub. Once Prime Minister Suga was inside the White House he was shunned for the greeting by his diplomatic peer,
