Daunte Wright, the 20-year-old African-American man who was shot and killed in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota on Sunday, already had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for the charge of attempted aggravated robbery, according to Fox News. Court records (Snip)reveal that Wright and an accomplice, Emajay Driver, were charged with first-degree aggravated robbery following an attempt in December of 2019.(Snip) The next morning, after one woman left for work, the other woman prepared to leave the apartment with $820 in cash to pay for that month’s rent(Snip) she testified that Wright blocked the front door to her apartment and demanded the money from her, eventually pulling out a handgun.

Drip, drip, drip. First the photos of an angelic-looking Deante with his baby son. Then we hear that he thought he was being stopped for air fresheners handing from the rear view mirror. Then we hear about the expired registration. Then we hear there’s a warrant out for his arrest for failing to appear for a hearing on some “misdemeanor charges”. Now this. And they are burning down more of Minneapolis for this thug?

This was first reported as a failure to appear on a misdemeanor warrant by one of the members of our MSM. It has taken over 3 days to dig up the actual details. When did aggravated robbery/assault involving a gun become a misdemeanor ? One more criminal's family is about to get stinkin rich.

They say that a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged. Perhaps the day is coming when the collective liberal consciousness of the Twin Cities will realized that their locale is being raped and mugged by a bunch of democrat allies and will say "enough already". Of course someone running against the thugs and looters would probably be labeled a racist and a bigot.

He was out on bond for aggravated robbery - a felony. And he violated the terms of his bond. Thus, the warrant. He was facing 20 years in prison, so he tried to resist arrest.

White House reverses course on refugee

The White House Friday reversed course on refugee admissions, after an earlier announcement maintaining a controversial Trump-era refugee cap was met with disdain by Democrats and immigration activists. Following a day of blowback from Democrats, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki announced Biden would set a new, higher ceiling in May after initially saying it would keep the current 15,000 limit. The initial decision had led to widespread complaints from Democratic lawmakers and groups representing refugees, who had already been urging Biden to lift the ceiling put in place by former President Trump. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who came to the United States as a refugee, called it "shameful."
Democrats Introduce Bill to Expand Supreme

A group of Democrats on Thursday unveiled their bill to expand the Supreme Court, but party leaders showed little support and Republicans assailed the proposal as radical. The “Judiciary Act of 2021” would add four seats to the nation’s top court, effectively flipping the balance from 6–3 in favor of conservative-appointed justices to 7–6 in the opposite direction. The rationale fueling the proposal is that Republicans confirmed Justice Amy Coney Barrett after Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died last year. The GOP broke no rules or laws, but some Democrats were bitter that they did not hold the seat open for whoever won the 2020 election.

People who have received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine are “likely” to need a third dose sometime within a year after being fully vaccinated. “A likely scenario is that there will be likely a need for a third dose, somewhere between six and 12 months and then from there, there will be an annual revaccination,” CEO Albert Bourla said during an online event on April 15. “But all of that needs to be confirmed. And again, the variants will play a key role,” he said. “We need to see what would be the sequence, and for how often we need to do that, that remains to be seen.”

CBS News deceptively cropped body camera footage that showed a 13-year-old boy holding a gun before he was fatally shot by Chicago police in March. A law enforcement officer fatally shot Adam Toledo during an encounter in response to gunshots heard on a police scanner. Police said Toledo ignored “verbal directions, fled, used significant force, and was armed with a semiautomatic pistol,” which is why the officer fired. Body cam footage released this week appears to show Toledo holding a weapon moments before he was shot, but CBS News posted a clip to its website and Twitter page that cropped out the footage showing the teen’s alleged firearm.

President Biden in February committed to welcoming those fleeing persecution around the world, and to raising the cap of 15,000 refugees set by the prior administration. Secretary of State Antony J. How did this happen? How did the nation go in an instant from disbelieving every utterance of Donald Trump to robotically repeating — and acting on — every claim that falls out of Joe Biden’s mouth, no matter how disconnected from the truth? The most glaring example involves Biden’s fact-challenged tirade against Georgia’s new voting law. At his first and only press conference, Biden declared the state’s efforts to protect against voter fraud were worse than Jim Crow, “un-American,” “sick,” and “despicable.” (This was the same press conference where moments later Biden bragged about how much time he’s spent with China’s genocidal communist dictator before calling him “a smart, smart guy.”)

Anybody who’s taking Dr. Anthony Fauci seriously probably needs to stop doing so. He endlessly moves the goalposts to maintain his unlimited power over the American people, something Democrats support. That’s why, on Thursday, during House testimony, Rep. Maxine Watters (who is a low-rent harridan) tried to shut down Rep. Jim Jordan’s efforts to get Fauci to say when enough Americans will be vaccinated so that COVID restrictions can end. The past year has shown that Fauci either has no idea what he’s talking about or is trying to advance an agenda that invariably has to do with maintaining the 2020 status quo of lockdowns, isolation, and masks.
