Majority of CEOs say Biden tax hikes will
harm business, slow wage growth: poll

A survey of CEOs has found that a majority think President Biden’s proposed hike in the corporate tax rate to pay for his $2 trillion infrastructure package would negatively affect their companies’ competitiveness, expansion and wage growth. The poll released Monday by Business Roundtable of its CEO members showed that 98 percent of them said raising the rate to 28 percent from 21 percent would have a “moderately” or “very” significant adverse effect on competitiveness. Seventy-five percent of the executives said it would “negatively affect” their businesses’ investments in R&D and innovation, while 71 percent believe it would harm their ability to hire new

Comments:

And yet, they couldn't wait to oust the best president we've had in ages and replace him with a Marxist puppet who vowed to hike taxes and regulations through the roof, and undo all of Rightful President Trump's pro-USA trade policies. Shoot yourself in the foot, then cry that it hurts. Real geniuses we have as CEOs. Also, many of our largest companies pay no income tax at all, so in private they're probably laughing at this pretext to restrict growth in salaries. They'd have us working for free if they could.

They are back to the total degrowth plan for the economy. Increase fuel costs, raise taxes, and run the national debt up through that glass ceiling. So far so good. The market will capitulate and the house that unemployment and stimulus built will crash and burn to the ground.

Kurt Schlichter is right. Corporate America gets woke, works against the American people and side with democrats on every single social issue. And without exception, expect if not demand that Republicans protect them from the worst of democrat policies. They backed, paid for and support every treasoncrat lie, so screw'em. Raise their taxes. Increase the regulations. Until they learn to stop biting the hands that protect them and purchase their products and services, I say that we give them the government, good and hard, that they advocated for.

Poll of the week: A new Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that 55% of Republicans falsely believe Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election was the result of illegal voting or rigging. Additionally, 60% of Republicans incorrectly agree that the election was stolen from Republican Donald Trump. These polls are the latest to indicate that Republicans mistakenly think that the 2020 election wasn't legitimate, when it clearly was. What's the point: Republicans have been pushing legislation at the state level to make voting at least somewhat more difficult than it was for the 2020 election. This has come in the wake of polls showing many Republicans doubt the election result. It is unclear
