Will payments be determined with respect to the percentage of "blackness" a person is shown to be? I actually AM asking for a friend who is awaiting the results of his Ancestry test. He is white, of Italian descent on both sides. It's certainly a possibility that he's part black. We're joking that, should that occur, he'll have to drop me because his results will expose me as a white supremacist. Thank goodness we have Jerry Nadler to figure this all out for us.

If you keep wallowing in your slave past, keep the speech patterns of slavery and depend upon the crumbs of welfare to keep you fed and housed, you will never progress. The Irish, Italians and Jews were treated like garbage in the past but don't seem to be using that as an excuse to be angry, out-of-control losers in the 21st century.

If demoncrats feel like giving reparations to the decendents of those they enslaved, that's fine with me, as long as they do it with their own money, and not mine. My ancestors never owned slaves. In fact, they fought on the side of the Union to free the slaves. No one has ever done anything to pay us back for our sacrifices, and we never asked. Some people have self-respect and class, and some don't and never will.

How is stealing money from one race to give to another race that clearly does not deserve it "not intended to divide?" Every entitled black person in the country now expects a big personal check and there will be massive disappointment when the extorted money goes into the pockets of "leaders" and will be used for purposes other than drug purchases, big screens, cell phones and shiny new cars. The race of perpetual outrage and disappointment is about to be disappointed once again.

Andrew Cuomo’s despicable rule in New York has never been seriously challenged. He won re-election to a third term by 23 points in 2018 — an election in which he arguably didn’t even try. But, for the first time in his tenure at the helm of the Empire State, Cuomo appears to be facing a serious opponent — one that was, at least in part, of Cuomo’s own making. After more than a half-dozen allegations of sexual misconduct, as well as accusations that his use (and subsequent cover-up) of nursing homes to house infectious COVID-19 patients last spring caused thousands of additional deaths, Cuomo is unusually vulnerable.
