Denver's Coors Field -- is steeped
in its own history of discrimination after
the beer company refused to hire black
people, Mexican-Americans and women
for decades

By moving the All-Star Game from suburban Atlanta to a stadium in Denver, Major League Baseball may have gone from the frying pan into the fire in the controversial case of cancel culture.
MLB ignited a firestorm last Friday - with the support of President Joe Biden - when it announced it was moving America's pastime's biggest game next to the World Series because it disagreed with a new Georgia voting law that liberal critics say helps Republicans and hurts minorities.
But the new venue, Coors Field, in Denver, comes with its own dark cloud of controversy, and may ignite even more problems.

The Colorado Rockies baseball team has precious few (if any) African American players. The black players from Latin America ''don't count as black'' according to BLM.

Haven't been a fan since the World Series strike in 1994. Prior to that strike, our whole family were avid fans and sports card collectors. No more. We don't watch baseball, playoffs, or the World Series. Baseball used to be the game your local team played against the cross-town team. For fun. But today's game and players? I don't even care where they play. The game is already dead, they just don't know it.

#1 -- For BLM and leftists in general, categorizing someone who is mixed Hispanic and another race depends entirely on what best serves their narrative.
#2 -- I am a lifelong Dodgers fan. I was 31 at the time of the 1994 strike. I boycotted almost all of the 1995 season, but did return. Since then, MLB generally and the Dodgers at times specifically have engaged in a long string of offenses. I take them personally. Unlike a bank, an airline, or a soda company, baseball sells its product by appealing primarily to my heart. It's personal. The vast majority of my grievances with baseball have to do with, greed, stupidity, cheating and a general disrespect for both fans and the game itself. Very little to do with politics.
It just happens that the purely partisan political decision by MLB to strip Atlanta of the All-star game is the straw that permanently broke this camel's back.
Separately, i noticed that MLB, 8n the name of civil rights, took the All-star game from a state which population is about 1/3 Black and gave it to a state that is about 1/20 Black. Hmm.

Almost everywhere one is going to find a "dark" history....when are people going to realize the past is over? Let go and move forward! With regard to the voting laws, there is nothing wrong with it. Biden misled the entire nation with his rant.

Brainy liberals who are so much smarter than us always do TWO things:
1)Shoot themselves in the foot
2)Cut off their nose to spite their face
They’re like 12-year olds who THINK they’re smart when they really aren’t...

Thanks for the reminder, Mr. Oppenheimer, I was wondering when the Coors history would be brought up. Now it's going to get really embarrassing for MLB. It took the Daily Mail(UK) to reveal what the "woke" are too stupid to have learned on their own.
Now how about telling us how Coors falsely advertises that "mountain spring water" that supposedly makes their beer taste good.

Correct me if I’m wrong please. I’m so angry with this racist nonsense I could very well be wrong, but, don’t most places who hire more than one or two black people start having employee problems?

Missing the point: Coors Field is a monument to a progressive company that mended its ways. The two old coots are gone and forgotten. Today Coors is a proud name in the Progressive Pantheon. This company "gets it".
