NPR issues stunning mea culpa after
claiming Hunter Biden laptop story
was ‘discredited’ by intelligence

Original Article

Posted By: Ribicon, 4/2/2021 11:06:55 AM

National Public Radio has corrected an online article that falsely asserted that documents from first son Hunter Biden’s laptop had been “discredited by U.S. intelligence.” A book review of Hunter Biden’s memoir “Beautiful Things” initially dismissed the documents first reported in October by The Post. “The laptop story was discredited by U.S. intelligence and independent investigations by news organizations,” the book review by NPR senior editor and correspondent Ron Elving initially claimed. The correction on the Thursday article now says, “A previous version of this story said U.S. intelligence had discredited the laptop story. U.S. intelligence officials have not made a statement to that effect.”

Comments:

At this point, what difference does it make? There are no honest people in government or in the MSM, and in fact they revel in deceiving the stupid Americans who continue to support them. Change "discredited" to "disregarded, discarded, and covered up" and all is well.

Bet that they were parroting disinformation straight from the mouth of some 'intelligence' source. Sure beats a real journalism job.

This lie started when 50 former intelligence officials said Hunter Biden's emails showed "signs of a Russian disinformation operation". That was a Democrat disinformation operation that may have cost Trump the election. These lies followed similar lies about Joe and Hunter during the first Ukrainian-based impeachment. Trump was right to warn Ukraine about Biden, especially now that the Russians are building up forces near Ukraine's borders. Wonder how Biden will respond to that.

Students and staff have no shot of returning to Cornell this fall if they don’t get the COVID-19 vaccine, the school said in a statement. “With the recent announcements of expanded vaccine eligibility in New York and other states, and increasing vaccine production, it is likely that all members of our community will be able to obtain vaccination sometime this spring or summer,” Cornell President Martha Pollack and Provost Michael Kotlikoff wrote Friday. “Accordingly, Cornell intends to require vaccination for students returning to Ithaca, Geneva, and Cornell Tech campuses for the fall semester.” Exceptions will be made for those with religious and medical exemptions,

A 'time limit' of less than a year could be imposed on the vaccine passport scheme to head off a Tory revolt on the issue, the Mail can reveal. Boris Johnson will give the green light on Monday to the development of a system of 'vaccine certification' as he looks to reinvigorate the economy. Ministers believe the scheme may be essential in reopening venues such as theatres and stadiums which rely on large crowds.
